Hours online weren't accurate, couldn't visit during my stay in Manzanita. Was really looking forward to going. There's only 2 bars in this small town, you'd think at least one of the two would be open each day of the week.

Amazing staff with lots of knowledge about whiskey and more! The drinks were out of this world (the Honey Grapefruit Margarita!! And the Exile to Ryeville!!) We will definitely be back. Please come here and support this fun spot ??

I was nervous when I saw MacGregor's Whiskey Bar had relocated but fortunately an employee stayed behind. Same atmosphere, slightly different menu but the gal that works there is hyper knowledgeable on her whiskeys (rum too) and made it all the more a great experience for me and my cousin who was visiting the US for the first time.

If we could give 6 stars, Hannah and Jason would deserve it with their in-depth knowledge of bourbon. Small plates are wonderful.

Visited here for the first time almost a year ago, remembered a great experience and was not disappointed. Tried a fun new to me beverage in the Bramble & Lavender with the delicious smokiness from the mezcal, and then an old faithful in the Old Fashioned. They were out of the cheese that was supposed to come with the board I ordered, the server recommended substituting with their truffle cheese and the cheese on the crostini with cranberries on top was delightful. I will definitely go again.

I hate leaving bad reviews. I love building businesses up, not tearing them down but I regret not leaving a five star review when this place was MacGregor's. Tonight fell short. We were greeted by the waitress whom immediately and very bluntly told us, "We are filled to brim" and when she took our drink order, "It will be a long time until your drinks are ready". As we sat and waited for our drinks we watched this person literally turned away at least 10 potential costumers. Yes, the place was busy, but isn't that what a business wants? At least be hospitable. Out of four drinks, one showed up 20 minutes after ordering. Totally fine. The other three...45 minutes after ordering. She warned us. We are very patient people whom have been in the food service industry ourselves. We ordered no food. We were there for 2.5 hours and were able to have two drinks. We literally had to ask to order our second round and this was after the bar slowed down. The two people running this place this evening did not know how to smoothly operate a cocktail bar. We saw people getting up and leaving. Why was the bartender not making drinks by the table/order? Why wasn't the waitress circling back to ask patrons if they would like anything else? Being made to feel like the customers are putting you out isn't good for business. We wanted to show our family what an amazing place this was in the past. Unfortunately it's no longer that. We had amazing service down the sidewalk at Sand Dune though. It was like a warm, welcoming hug compared to our experience here.

this was such a lucky find for us. The food and its presentation was exceptional (and even us vegans found some delicious appetizers to eat) and the drink list, even for non-spirit drinkers, was very good. Even better, lots of pictures of dogs on the wall. And as we know all dogs are good dogs.

Under new ownership and a new name from the last time we stopped in. We were apprehensive at first because we loved the previous place. Fortunately we found that really nothing has changed and in fact has gotten better than before. Everything was great! Food, craft cocktails, ambiance and service. We will be back!9

This place is at the top of my must visit list whenever I'm in or near Manzanita. The service is top notch, the drinks are world class and the snacks just perfect. But, it's the list of spirits that you should focus on. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable and super engaging and would love to tell you all about their favorites. I will sing this places praises any chance I get. Simply, a near perfect spot.

What a great way to celebrate our anniversary! We had the prosciutto rolls, cheese plate and hubby tried the cherry whiskey sour while mine was the Mistress. (I had two) Excellent food, service, fun. The service is relaxed and on the slower side so if you are in a hurry, go somewhere else. We were in no hurry!

This location is now called RustyMoose. It has much of the same food and drink, but they say they will be changing those slowly. Hopefully they don't change the cocktails we loved! The black Manhattan was very good and the Dark Cherry Whiskey sour was outrageous. My wife enjoyed a nice Pinot Noir. We shared the cheese board. It was a great selection of cheese and enough bread and crackers.

Apparently new owners. Bartender made and delivered one drink at a time to our table with several minutes in between each drink. Only three people in our party. Food was asked to be delivered all together. Got our flat bread first and never received soup. This was 50 minutes after ordering. 5-0. Flat bread was supposed to be margarita style. There is no meat on margarita style. There was meat. I'm still picking the lavender out of my teeth from drink that had lavender. Menu didn't say a tablespoon of lavender. We said we didn't want our soup because it had taken so long. They said it was on its way out. No thanks. And then we asked for bill. Bill had two items on it we didn't order. Used to be our destination restaurant/pub. Unfortunately no longer. PS: I forgot to mention that the bartender shook one of our drinks in the shaker and dropped the whole shaker on the floor and did not remake the drink.

Can't say enough about this place! Jacob, Hannah and Sam made us feel so welcome, it quickly became our Cheers. We are cocktail fools so it was such a wonderful surprise to find a true craft cocktail bar in Manzanita. The cocktails they make are detailed and nuanced. They really love what they do and you can tell when you drink their cocktails (I tried many of them and there's not a clunker in the bunch)! Then, as if you didn't need another reason to go, their food!! It's a limited menu but what they have is delicious, especially the pretzel and the Mac and cheese, holy cow! Now one warning.. this is a small bar that takes pride in everything they make. Don't go there and get mad if you have to wait to get in or wait for your drink. No bad attitudes. Just relax and enjoy the company while you patiently wait to be delighted. You're welcome.
