“Amazing staff with lots of knowledge about whiskey and more! The drinks were out of this world (the Honey Grapefruit Margarita!! And the Exile to Ryeville!!) We will definitely be back. Please come here and support this fun spot ??”
“Cute place, nice people. I ordered the burrito, the description said eggs with half and half and paprika. Ummmm I thought I was eating tofu. Ick. I did run across one potato, lots of beans! I only ate half, threw the rest away. I wouldn’t order it again. Bummed!”
“Stopped in for a morning coffee. Cute little shop, laid back atmosphere. Check out their beautiful art mugs. The half sweet mocha was still a little on the sweet side, though. Small quibble, but that stuff matters to me. Recommended. ☺️”
“Fun little shop, very friendly and helpful proprietor. Bottles at all different price points. Bought a $40+ bottle of pinot nior she recommended and we thoroughly enjoyed it.”
“Our first time here...the server was super sweet and the food....well it was delicious. We asked what the servers favorite was and she said she would eat the salmon tacos everyday if she could....and we agree! My son got some Tillamook ice cream with whip n sprinkles after his meal...and his excitement says it all.”
“Fantastic pizza, I think it might be the best I've ever had.I went here with a friend after hiking at Cape Falcon with a friend and after we picked up the pizza we sat on the beach (which was literally less than a 5 minute walk away) and watched the sunset.I absolutely would recommend even if you're just passing through.”
“5 star coffee and breakfast made by a 5 star staff! Went to this cute shop just off the beach in Manzanita. I ordered a hot soy latte plus a bacon, egg, and cheese on an everything bagel. My latte was perfect - nice and creamy. My bagel sandwich was made to order with eggs freshly scrambled - no precooked eggs. My sandwich was so big, I saved some for lunch. The shop also has lots of cool merchandise - shirts, hoodies, stickers, hats and mugs! The van hoodie is my fave so of course I bought one for me and one to send to a friend.”
“Cute little winery with a great patio! They are dog & kid friendly, with games to play while at your table. The service was fantastic, and everyone was so chill! Loved the Pinot Flight and the food. I look forward to coming back & grabbing a bottle to fly home with!”
“If you like pie, cookies, coffee, and more pie this is a MUST! Nicest lady helped us get our pies. They put together the cream ones while you wait. Small and large pie options. The cookies are stamped with beautiful designs, made me want to get some for all my friends!”
“Loved the fresh guacamole and my burrito. Like most other Mexican restaurants, you have to spice it up to your liking. Why can't you choose a spice level like with Chinese?”
“Kid-friendliness: The staff was so welcoming to our kids, and even when there was an accidental drink spilled, they were so understanding and chill. Very nice & eased our stress!”
“We dined here for the first time this past weekend. Loved the space, a cozy and intimate home that had been converted to a restaurant. Our waitress couldn't have been nicer! Very knowledgeable about the food, and wine list. We enjoyed our meal and look forward to returning soon.”
“Apparently this little shop has recently changed its name, since I can only find "Schwietert's Cones & Candy" listed on Trip Advisor in other Oregon Beach towns, but that is what the big, colorful sign on the shop says. We stopped on the walk up the hill from the Manzanita Beach, and were thrilled to get cones for the entire family. The ice cream was excellent, and the portions much larger than expected. The friendly woman behind the counter was very helpful and patient with the various selections for our group, and we enjoyed our brief conversation with her. I'd advise getting the waffle cone, which contains the huge servings better than sugar cones could!”
“No trip to Manzanita is complete without a visit or 7 to Left Coast. We start thinking about their burritos weeks in advance and they’re always lovely. We were so lucky they were open tonight after a long drive into town. Pardon the half eaten burritos, we got too excited! ALSO: my husband is Vegan and he LOVES the choices he has there. From vegan cheese to the amazing seasoning on the veggies, it’s his favorite burrito ever!!”
“I have been eating food from the sand dune for 36 years(probably longer, I just can't remember). I use to get food from the take out window when I was to young to go in and then once I could finally enter those swinging doors I made it a stop every time I'm in town! I've had many iterations of their food but it always satisfies the belly. They have really upgraded the back patio with two large tents to cover it and makes for a great spot in the evening to sit out slide and enjoy some food and a drink! There burger are good but their fried oyster are where it's at! I hope someday they can increase their hours again, but for the time being, I'll still make it in when I'm in town and suggest you do too! Ps great place to watch a late afternoon evening duck/beaver game!”
“Excellent breakfast, outstanding cozy atmosphere, best French toast, amazing baked goods and gifts. We loved it so much we all agreed we had to go twice on our vacation. We will return!”
“Stopped in for a few items for the vacation rental. Great staff, good selection of fresh prepared food and made to order pizza was great as well. If you need to get any their fishing or the beach, the have tons of stuff!”
“absolutely love this little gem in Wheeler. Everything tried so far has been so good. The owners are so friendly, they even offered my doggo a little treat while we waited for our food. I finally tried the Buddah Bowl and discovered my new favorite! An abundance of fresh, crisp beautiful veggies, rice (brown or white) and protein choice (chicken, shrimp, and tofu) with a delish peanut sauce. I had the chicken which was lean and perfectly seasoned.”
“We hired Julie & her team to cater our wedding reception at our Manzanita beach house for 90 guests. Not only was the food incredibly delicious; they were prompt, professional and very friendly! I would highly recommend Buttercup Catering for your future event or gathering!”
“I have breakfast there almost every day. These people are the best thing to hit Rockaway since Dollar General. Any person who doesn’t like joes should stay home.❤️❤️❤️❤️Vegetarian options: Lots of optionsDietary restrictions: They have optionsKid-friendliness: Sugar sugar and more sugarWheelchair accessibility: Easy in and out”
“Some of the best , maybe even the best F&C around. Call before you come hours are variable not always as posted. Cook was grumpy but who cares it's not what I'm there for. 4&1/2 stars.”
“We just try this place yesterday and it was sooo good! They use the best spices and is nice that you get to adjust how spicy hot you want your dish! As an Indian food lover unfortunately my stomach can’t take anything hot, I’m happy I was able to enjoy biryani and tikka masala, the portions ar every generous, not expensive and you get an excellent meal. Loved the mango lassi as well. Five stars! ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️”
“Stopped on a drive down to seaside and got grilled ham and cheese and grilled cheese, was a amazing simple and cheap lunch so on the drive home I stopped and got the breakfast sandwich, biscuits and gravy, and breakfast burritos, and the burritos were amazing did not expect pulled pork to work so well but that with the real eggs and potato’s was just a 10/10 and the biscuits and gravy was a 8/10 needed a little salt and pepper but if you like from scratch biscuits then a 10 easy, and the breakfast bagel sandwich was simple yet still done with all real eggs and real cheese definitely a permanent stop on the coast from now on ?”
“Great local bar. Drinks are always cold and their menu is actually really good. Burgers are all great, chef salad is always fresh and HUGE, the bayway dip and club sandwich are also favorites. I saw a previous review that said they "don't have a menu" while this might be true- they don't HAND you a menu- they definitely have a large selection that's hand written down on a board and easy to read. Staff is always very friendly and efficient. Friendly patrons and ambiance. Great stop along the 101!”
“We visited this afternoon. They were pretty busy as just two people were working, but they did their best to take orders and prep them. Corn dogs were great and the soft serve texture was lovely.”
“My wife and I run a small food truck in the area en we tried a massive loaf of Sourdough Bread!I have to say, this is the without a doubt the best sourdough bread I’ve ever had.Amazing people - amazing bread. Hit them up if you are in the area!!Thank you guys!”
“Very good Italian style pizza. Larger size pie than I was expecting for a hand made Artisan pizza at a regular pizzeria price. Attentive service. We plan to return and try other menu items. It's a smaller place in a small town with a deck and a nice riverfront view. We visited late on a dark rainy night, so there was no view.”
“Love it. Came all the way from Arizona. The small oysters are the best.Crabbing was great fun, but caught 0 male crabs both times. My kids loved renting the boat.”
“We stopped by for coffee and got this brioche, glazed, strawberry cream cheese pastry. It looked good in the case and the combination of eggy, butter, tender pastry with the surprisingly light cream cheese was delicious. Not sure what the name of this creation is, but it's going to be on our favorite list from now on!”
“The food was the perfect portion size. I had Papa’s Plate with Sausage. There was loud music playing and it was a 30 minute wait to seat a party of 4. They had a couple of items on the menu and advertised online that are not served anymore. Overall, pretty good experience.”
