Love this place, stop in everytime Im in town now. Theyve usually got the belt pretty stocked and its all labeled with whats in it too which is so nice. Staff is friendly but can be hard to catch the attention of when it gets busy but thats to be expected.

This has happened on multiple occasions, where i go to pay and the lady pressures me for a tip. All they do is greet us and get our drinks but they don’t ever come and check up on the table. If they want a tip so bad here’s one: Give out better service and you’ll get better tips without needing to pressure people.

love coming to akira sushi restaurants, this particular restaurant tho they take forever to get drinks out & don’t even come to check if you are doing alright & when it comes to paying they basically beg you for a tip when they did nothing to earn one … great food but for future reference don’t beg for a tip be a good waitress / waiter & it will come.
Prices for the sushi are very good. We we're told to grab a seat and no server came up to ask us for anything else. We got cups of water towards the end of our meal and we did ask for miso soup, which never came. The food was subpar at best, but on par with the price we paid.
Would we come back here? Not very likely unless there was fresher sushi and better service

Me and a coworker were recently in to eat. The calamari was great. But being pressured to tip waitresses that did Nothing and just stood their and joked around is a great example of this company taking advantage of me and my neighborhood. Please dont waste your time or money here. The audacity of these two women pressuring for tips and they do nothing is disconcerting. Very displeased and wish I had spent my money elsewhere.
