Borderline 4-5 star place, pretty good sushi for a conveyor belt place. Both the raw and cooked were good. The service was reasonably good and place was clean. I would definitely come back again. Bill was high but it is what u expect now for eating out.Kid-friendliness: Kids will like it here

Average atmosphere/service but the food was absolutely sub par. I grabbed one tuna nigiri and it was completely dry and the plate looked old/dirty. Tasted very bad and i didn’t get any other plates off the conveyor belt. Decided to try the veggie yakisoba and it wasnt as bad as the sushi but it barely had any flavor and way too much oil. Also got a stomach ache afterwards. Would avoid.

My wife and I love this place. They always have a good selection of Sushi available. Akira offers multiple different plate styles with prices to match, which of course are reasonable and not overpriced at all. They have very good hot tea available which is fantastic to pair with your Sushi.

Cheap and real good sushi. It’s a better and upgraded version of Sushiland, which was the sushi company before Akira moved in.We are regulars here and can easily tell who is new staff or not. We miss the old staff?Last time we went, we had a poor experience by a brand new server. We asked to order and 80% of the stuff we ordered she kept saying to go find on the conveyor belt, even the appetizers that are supposed to be fried so of course everything was cold. Talk about lazy! It’s our first time not giving out tip and they had the audacity to ask for tip a tip before I left. She pointed to the tip section and asked me multiple times. Wasn’t impressed. Do better and hire better servers.

Akira Sushi is by far the best sushi restaurant that I've visited in Beaverton. The prices are very reasonable too, ranging from $1.75-$3.65 per plate, depending on what color the plate is.For those who are vegetarian/vegan, there are a multitude of options, such as the Seaweed Salad and the Cucumber Roll, just to make a few. All the food is fresh and I appreciate how there are labels on the conveyor belts so customers know what type of sushi they'll get.Between, the friendly staff, freshly made sushi, and the reasonable prices, Akira Sushi is among the best places to grab some sushi that I've been to so far, and I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone near Beaverton.Vegetarian options: Sesame balls, Seaweed Salad, Veggie Tempura, Cucumber Roll

I went to Akira for dinner tonight, and while I was eating salmon sushi, a strange piece of plastic came out of the sushi. I also worked at a sushi restaurant, so I could see for sure that this was not a fish bone. The staff took it to the kitchen to check and talked for a while, and said that it was a fish bone, and without saying sorry, they only gave me a plate for free. We didn't mean to do it for free. I just wanted an apology for what it was, and I'm sorry for the inconvenience. At the end, I was very disappointed with the service of the staff.
