Tried Couple of the desserts. Extremely sweet, even a little crunchy from the sugar. Not my jam.

My white mocha was just right. I also had an apple strudel, and they had plenty of other tasty baked goods. The server asked if I wanted a porcelain cup, and I said yes. Service was polite. The store was full on a rainy day.

Gluten free sandwich costs $2.50 extra. That is at least a 150% markup. THEY ARE LITERALLY TRYING TO PROFIT OFF OF SOMEONE'S DISEASE. This is the same as a business charging for the use of a wheelchair ramp. Or charging deaf people extra for subtitles. Only celiacs are ordering this cardboard bread we wish we didn't have to eat. So sick of the greed in this country.

They really ought to step up the vegan food options. There’s very little available on that front. The staff is nice. Location is convenient.

We ordered the pistachio latte. It usually comes with nutmeg. We asked not to add the nutmeg. The server said okay. Then there was nutmeg.

Best late night spot in Beaverton.

I've been probably a dozen or so times in the last year.
It's a wonderful spot to grab a cup and hang. The atmosphere is why I like this place the most. The late hours are a unique and welcome addition to Beaverton.
Prices on the bagel sandwiches are steep (~$16?) for a bagel with an egg and some toppings in it. Drinks aren't too bad, though. About $6-7 for a latte.

I'll never go back here. I got such terrible food poisoning from a sandwich here. I called and told them, they didn't care. This place makes my stomach hurt just thinking about it. Never again.

My friend and went to the Beaverton one yesterday to sit and chat. I've never been here, so it was a fun adventure. We walked by the pastry counter and they have one of my favorites, cannoli (unfortunately I'm now GF, so I just 🤤 over it). I tried their Spanish Cream Latte and the gentleman who waited on us suggested I do it iced (I asked which he suggested, hot or iced). My friend had the hot caramel apple Chai and both were yummy, not too sweet. The coffee was smooth and flavorful. I openly admit I'm a coffee snob to the enth degree, so this was a pleasant surprise. I don't like super sweet drinks, so it was lovely to have just hint of sweetness and to be able to enjoy the coffee taste. My friend let me taste her Chai and it was spicy from the nutmeg, light on the caramel, with a great apple taste.
If you've never been to Ava Roasteria, I highly recommend them. I look forward to going back and trying the one in Orenco.
