This branch of Ava is maybe the most gorgeous cafe in PDX. Won’t say anything, I’ll just go ahead and upload the photos …
Great place to work/study. Open late and there are outlets to charge laptops/phones.

Listen. I drink a LOT of coffee. To the point where my doctor said at my last check up, “please stop drinking coffee, this has gone WAY too far.” So it’s safe to say, I know everything about coffee. More than the average person. For example, did you know that they grow beans in Columbia? Probably not. Point, set, match. But when I tell you, and I will right now, the beans at Ava’s in Progress Ridge produce the most exquisite hot bean water I’ve ever had the pleasure of slurping between my lips, I mean it. Coffee is kinda crazy if you think about it. How do they put water on beans, you drink it, and then all of a sudden your entire house is clean? I heard that the Egyptians actually build the pyramids on caffeine, then they died. How else would they move those giant blocks? I don’t know, and neither do you. Be honest, you don’t. But I really like the coffee at Ava’s, and the lady that looks like that blonde girl from Twilight makes a mean cup of joe.

The service here is hands down the top tier. The team is very kind and attentive. They are always happy to see you when you walk in the door and often give a warm and inviting welcome. Ava’s team is fantastic, especially Nevaeh and her helpful and kind personality. The entire team is lovely and their desserts & pastries… wow.
The manager Joanna recommended that I try Dad’s delight and holy moly, let’s just say this isn’t just any padre’s paradise. All in all great atmosphere, environment, friendly staff and all around great coffee shop. Thank you guys for everything!

I came here last week on a trip to OR. I ordered just a latte to feed my coffee craving. Joanna is so sweet and the latte was delicious!! I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in the neighborhood.

You’d think for $50 2 medium coffee’s and 2 bagel breakfast sandwiches the bagel would at least taste good. the bagel was hard as the Smithsonian rock. Seriously 16 dollars for 1 bagel sandwhich, the size of a footlong philly cheesesteak at jersey mikes and it tastes like patrick stars house.

My latte tasted watered down, and the food was pretty mediocre for how crazy expensive it is.
