I just got home from an accidental visit to Bamboo Sushi.
I was going to neighboring businesses.
I was hungry and this is one of the few sushi places where I've never eaten.
Well, it turns out that it's one of the very best I've ever visited! A big surprise.
I'm only doing a short review now and hope to add to it soon.
My pictures will tell most of the story.
I looked at a neighboring restaurant and decided not for me.
When I poked my head into Bamboo Sushi, I was immediately impressed with being greeted professionally and she was friendly too. The decor was impressive. Clean, modern. Then when I looked at the menu I knew I was going to eat there now.
As I've said, I have appointments now but I'll try to post some of the pictures before I leave.
Chris was my main server and he was great!
He said that I could use his name but would rather not have his picture taken
Manager(s), Owners, take note. Chris is a big asset to you and your business. I've been many places, he's near the top.

Sadly this is Bamboo's worst location. The service was absolutely terrible. We had a toddler with us, and they sat us at a tall bar table that's stools are hard for even a grown adult to sit in. This was just the start, we ended up waiting over 13 mins before we ended up flagging someone down to take our order, no greeting, no water, no order taking nothing. Just a group with a small child sitting at a bar table wondering what was going on. The food was decent, came out quickly and for the most part tasted like bamboo with the exception of the calamari which was mostly lemon pieces, like far more lemon than actual calamari, to be clear they did take if off our tab so that is redeeming. The green machine roll was about half the size of the one at our usual location (NE Alberta). I think Beaverton's population keeps them afloat and the lack of other great options helps as well. I hope that they can clean it up a little and work on their service.

The sushi is cheap quality. I’m not sure why you’d go out and have lower quality sushi for more than average price.
On top of it our servers hung out talking to each other. We had to ask for everything. Not once were asked how things were.
In the end when you pay, minimum tip of 18% is presented.
What happened to service?
What happened to food quality?
Never will I spend my hard earned money here again.

Our family's go-to for sushi. Always fresh sushi and friendly service. If you are avoiding gluten, this restaurant is awesome about knowing their ingredients and keeping the food safe.

We’re big fans of Bamboo Sushi. This location we like because of their outdoor seating area. They are always kind and helpful when it comes to ordering slightly off menu for our kids. The wait staff was knowledgeable about the new specials and were informed about the various places they get their fish from.
Our only complaint would be the long waits. Even with a reservation we will have to wait 5-10 mins past the reservation time slot.
But once seated they always service us quickly which we appreciate.

Solid sushi, if you get it. We ordered three rolls and only received two (the biggest and most expensive one). Tried to call to get it resolved but no one ever picks up the phone and their mailbox is full.

I had such an amazing experience dining at Bamboo Sushi Cedar Hills, thanks to our incredible server, Ella! From the moment we sat down, Ella made us feel so welcomed and cared for. She was knowledgeable, attentive without being overbearing, and had such a warm and positive energy—it truly made the whole evening so special. I frequent the Seattle location, so it was nice to see the same quality service and food at one of the Oregon locations.

Meh. Bamboo seems to be going further downhill. This photo is of the scallop roll we ordered, which you can see features hardly ANY scallop at all!!! And most just stuffed with BS cucumbers. If we wanted a cucumber roll — we would have gotten one. We alerted our server to this issue (why does everyone who work at this particular location seem to be fresh out of high school?) and he went back to the kitchen, where they plopped an appropriate amount of actual scallops back on top. Also, it was an extremely hot muggy day and ALLLL their doors were open, which was unbearable and how and disgusting. No escaping the heat here. It also creates for a really noisy and unpleasant, non intimate environment with all of the noise from the parking lot right outside. This is my least favorite Bamboo location by FAR. Again — super mehhhh. Also — why are there sprouts on EVERYTHING? Omg. Seriously so unnecessary. There are waaaayyyyy better/more authentic/more fish sushi places around for the same-ish price point.

I decided to go on a push skate, ended up at Beaverton Bamboo Sushi for a snack, ended up eating supper.
This was my first time here, the staff seemed very put off when I entered around 3:15pm. I was seated, at the end of the bar.
I ordered the Rainbow roll, and the Wild Salmon with Potatoes dinner plate.
I was so amazed at the whole flavor bouquet of my meal, the roll came out when I was half way done with the main course.
Do to the Staff looking at me at if I was Trash with a Skateboard, I probably won't return.
Thanks for an outstanding meal!
My total was $45, I left a $20 tip do to the meal, would've been more if I felt welcomed.
