"Bro, did you hear they're closing down the Bargarten?" "Dude, no way! Me and my team from innovation engineering used to go there in March and make them turn off bum-ass soccer games for March Madness." "I drank so many boots there, it was sick." "I always wanted to get the fondue, but Kelci was all 'Isn't that Swiss?' and I'd be like 'same difference' and she's be like 'you didn't do much in school, did you' and I said 'school this Model X, pit stain.'" "Yeah, but that menu was hundy-P a mess. They were like 'here's dry fish and seafood, go Germany.'" "Yeah, and like anything beyond a pretzel was rolling the dice. Nater got the ribeye once and it was like chewing a $35 tire." "If I don't see schnitzel in the name, I don't get it." "Who goes there and thinks "I cold go for salmon, tacos and some Bitburger?'" "Nobody. God, I can't believe we would go to the mall for that." "Well where else..." "DUDE. Prost and Stammich, Stam-tich... Stammtisch!" "Stammtisch... that place is great." "Again, schnitzelwurst or nothing." "You know it." "So you goin' back to Brogarten to kick that Dunkel keg one last time?" "Nah bro, sometimes you just have to grow up." "True dat. See you at Westgate for the Dubs draft?" "Def."

We visited Bargarten for Father's Day as a last homage to a closing restaurant. We are sad to see it going. The restaurant announced their upcoming closing recently, and have lost a lot of staff because of that. They are running with bare bones front if house and kitchen staff, and are doing the best that they can. They are also running low or out of stock on menu items due to the future closing. Customers are not always understanding and often downright unpleasant to the staff that's showing up and doing their best. If you plan to stop in before they close for good, please be kind and understanding, and tip well. These folks are losing their job due to no fault of their own.

Reservation made earlier in the afternoon, arrived at appointed time and restaurant was closed. No signage on the door. I suspect it was due to lack of staffing with the closure upcoming.

It's alright. The fondue appetizer was unremarkable. I ordered the pork schnitzel which was fine, although, I was pleasantly surprised that the taste wasn't overbearingly strong given the amount of cheese melted on top. My friend ordered the chicken parm type schnitzel and that was fine too. Overall the food was a tad bit salty for my preference. The ambiance and service from the host and waitress were nice. Good place to sit and catch up!

Our waitress was highly skilled, we were a group of six and she remembered all our orders and divided our checks as requested without writing anything down. Everyone enjoyed their food. They were out of a few beer selections but most of our group ordered the Oktoberfest anyway which was available.

Plenty of outdoor seating but they won't allow you to sit outside where it's safe where there's airflow and where you feel comfortable. Instead they would rather pack you inside like a sardine with no airflow making it highly possible you contract some irreversible disease just to have a beer they can take their beer and shove it

The limited downside was that they didn't have a full variety of beer at this time. My wife is not a beer drinker, but she enjoyed the Doppelbock. We both had the Chicken Schnitzel with Spatzle and ordered a Brat for an appetizer. I think we both like her Parmesan Chicken Schnitzel the best. My wife thought the pour for her white house wine was a little on the light side. A little spendy, but with the gift card we had we did order extras. We really did enjoy our time there for our 42nd wedding anniversary dinner.

First off, our server was absolutely fantastic! She was on it for everything we needed and was crushing a huge section and not leaving anyone disappointed. The place was packed so we ended up sitting on the patio for quicker seating. It wreaked of BO but seemingly not from someone in there at the moment. No huge deal but was a turn off for eating. The table we got sat at was soaking wet on the table and chairs so we moved but they told us not to sit there because we would get dripped on (ironically). They moved us to a new table and everything was fine. We started with a pretzel and beer cheese which was yummy. The food was pretty good but not my personal taste so I probably wont go again with so many options in this city. Honestly the server was awesome though so it wasn't a bad experience.

Just out with some friends. This is one of our favorite weekend restaurants. The service was great and the food was also very good as usual. Love the Greek Bowl!

This is one of my husband and I'd favorite go-tos for brunch and dinner for years now. The Benedict, fondue with sausage and German bread, spatzel, and any schnitzel is literally amazing and I crave it all the time. Highly recommend!!

Our food person was slow, and fought us on how to make a Blood Orange Margarita. This is the second time to this Restaurant, the food menu was LACKING the German menu, (spent 2 years in Germany), the noise level was so high we had to almost scream at each other. I do not know who our food server was, but they should terminate her -Never going back – Over Priced food

The restaurant is very fun and inviting. However, we had a family party of 8 and were told that our gratuity would be included. That is fine except that our waitress knew that she was getting a tip and our service was not good. I really don't like gratuity being included not based on service.

I came for a visit from NYC and I had a great dinner with my friend. Loved the beer, nice and strong service was great and fast, did not have to wait for a long time.I recommend it

The Oktoberfest Beer is great and the food portions are filling! The bratwurst and smoked sausages could be more authentic and it would be great to have an option of fried onions with the bratwurst. Not all options for the beer were available during my visit.

We recently met friends here for lunch, and the other couple was quite late in arriving. Not only was our server patient, he continued above and beyond the norm, being super accommodating and welcoming to all of us. And the food was delicious, with the fondue and apple strudel as special standouts. This was our first experience with Bargarten Bavarian Social Haus, and it will definitely not be our last. Thank you for a wonderful lunch!
