Beard Papa's

I did arrive for a special collab event with friends, but the staff was severely underprepared. I felt sorry for the 2 employees taking care of a line over 100 people, but how they handled the event was lacking. Also, the 6 set pack was supposed to have 2 red, 2 green, and 2 original, but between the 2 6 packs we got, it was 4 green and 8 red. Also, they were running low on cream and half filled all of the cream puffs for us.

Was waiting in line and watched two ladies harass the worker today around 3:00.
People need to quit harassing customer service workers then being surprised everywhere is short staffed.
Really like this store and the people who run it are always friendly especially the manager.

It was just about closing two days before Christmas and the amazing sales human went out of her way to reopen so we had éclairs for Christmas Eve!

Arrived to the store and noticed no one was there. Went back to shopping then returned back to see if they were really closed or opened. Then saw someone was there and over heard him say to someone “ come back in 5-10 mins “ and then we stood there.
And told us the same thing “ come back in 5-10 mins “ so we went back to our shopping. Return back in the time frame and saw he helped someone and told them to come back in 5-10 mins and saw him just shuffling stuff to look like he is working. And we asked “ if we can order ?! “ and told us the same thing again “ come back in 5-10 mins… very disappointed. And won’t be coming back here again. I feel the person who was working there tonight. Isn’t the right fit for the company.. over stressed and horrible customer service.

Just called in to see if they’re open and weren’t sold out since the young woman closed shop 1hr before their posted time of 7PM on a Saturday. The same lethargic lady hung up on me the first call, answered the second time “helloooo?” This place needs to hire someone who actually wants to work, wants to make money, and isn’t going to sabotage the shop by lies of being sold out, close early, hang up on customers calling in, & reluctantly answer without any greeting. Owner, if you’re reading this, you should re-evaluate that staff member working 11/9-11/10 6pm/3pm respectively.

Went to Beard Papa’s today with my girlfriend. She was very excited as she hadn’t had Beard Papa’s since moving from Oahu.

Boy were we disappointed. The cream puffs that we received were stale, slightly burnt, and most definitely a day old. Complete rip off for 4.50 per cream puff. My girlfriend literally cried because they had been so excited for one of their favorite foods from back home and what they got was a total let down.

Also the woman at the counter was not friendly and was extremely hard to hear from behind the giant plexiglass and would not speak up.

Do not waste your money on this. It’s 4.50. I wouldn’t have paid a dollar for what I got. I can make better pastries at home that aren’t old and burnt.

I & my kiddos enjoy the Matcha flavor that they just made it in weekend (Sat & Sun) only. We have ordered over bundle of Green Tea fontdant au in every weekend. We initially love cream puff of Beard Papa’s and we’ve ever tried several franchise stores in Asia, California and New York unfortunately i have to say that the store in Oregon’s totally failed. The shell of cream puff was not good as standard and they don’t have many options like another stores. But i’ll keep doing support and waiting until you can improve and do your business better.

Tasty yet light cream puffs! I tried the cookie option with the chocolate cream (the associate mentioned it was her favorite so I went with that one). I devoured it in line while waiting to check out of the grocery store. Honestly that whole setup is amazing!

I waited till they opened at 12pm(I arrived at 11:20). Waited in line for 5 minutes. Then was told that they won't have any of the 'mini' ones available for 30mins. In total spent 45+ minutes waiting only to be told to wait longer. Never again. Waste of time. Uwajimaya is great, but Beard Papa's ain't worth the effort. Don't go out of your way like I did to eat here. If you are grocery shopping and its there, try it, but don't make it a destination to drive to. Employees looked clueless and there was a help wanted sign posted up. Went to "Tous les Jours" down the street to get stuff for my Mom's birthday instead.

Incredible cream puffs!

I can't think of any other shop dealing exclusively in cream puffs, which makes it pretty unique. The cream puffs themselves are delicious, and there's other small pastry options as well to buy. They also have a new flavor every month that cycles out.

A hidden gem! I loveeee their puffs! A huge puff filled with lots of cream that has just the right amount of sweetness with a flaky puff on the outside ?? I’m sold! I asked for the eclair or chocolate covered puff and they made it on the spot. Will definitely stop by for a puff whenever I’m in Beaverton

We ordered a molten lava cake and an eclair, they were delicious!
