The eating experience was great, chef shane was amazing and the food was delicious. The only thing that put a dent in our experience was that we made a reservation and still had to wait almost an hour and a half for our table. I know things happen, but I feel like waiting that long for a reservation a little much. Other than that it was good!
Benihana's is always loud and chaotic, but always fun. Depending on whoever cooks your food, sometimes it can be just OK, but our Teppanyaki Chef was excellent in the preparation of our food, making a delicious meal as well a performing a entertaining and diner inclusive show.
I was totally surprised at how the food was prepared. Every order was cooked individually and mine was perfect. The only mash up was the fried rice with vegetables. Even the zucchini was delivered individually. It was all perfectly done. Not sorta measured with the spatula but my whole order was mine not a mix with others. I will go back, perhaps at a quieter time and day. Our reservation was spur of the moment. Thank you Benihana for an almost perfect meal.
