Always enjoy eating here. They are usually cleaner than the others in the area. Sometimes, a couple of messy customers come through, but they generally clean up the food area quickly.

I haven't been to this Chang's before, but it was pretty darn good. Yeah there were loud people when we got there but for a Friday night it wasn't bad. Especially near closing.

Everything on the line was properly frozen and our cook was doing an awesome job making sure things were cooked thoroughly. First time I've tried the lemonade, but the strawberry wasn't bad and over sugary.

The place was clean and everything was neat. The only thing I saw was that the hood vent didn't seem like it was pulling everything out unless the front doors were open. But all in all it was great, and I'll definitely go back

I was accused of stealing food when I got a to-go meal from Changs today. My family was alienated and treated like criminals, by a very clearly unprofessional, culturally biased and stressed out staff.
Here’s what happened. I didn’t know exactly what I was doing as I had never done to-go order at Chang’s before.. I was picking my food out and I grabbed another bowl for more veggies. Right away the lady at the register noticed and told me that we could only use 2 bowls but she was going to let it slide this time, because she knew it was just vegetables. I didn’t mind not using another bowl but thanked her anyway. As I was finishing up another employee came up to me and said that she was bringing me something to clean my hands with because I will have to stuff my extra bowl into my other bowls in order for the cook to be able to cook my food. I got my seasonings and waited for her to come back with a glove or something. Since I was in the way of other customers I moved over to the grill area to wait. While I was waiting there I saw the lady that was supposed to be helping me get something to switch bowls with, boxing someone’s food. The cook told me he would rather me not switch bowls and to not worry about her and rolled his eyes, and, started cooking my food. The employee saw that and became angry and started taking my 10 year old daughters food from her. I told her I will pay the difference and I apologized for not doing it right and understanding exactly what I had to do. I am not there to steal, and I will happily pay the difference. Once our food was done, she brought us up to the cash register and tried to charge us for a whole extra meal. I asked her if It would be OK that since I would be paying for an extra meal that I get the whole meal? I thought I would just be paying the difference. And then she started accusing me of stealing or planning on it. I tried to explain to her what was going on and that, indeed I was not stealing. Nevertheless, my older daughter became offended, and she just gave them the money and told them how she felt (which actually they deserved every word) and she left. I stayed because I realized they hadn’t given us any of our side items and in fact put them all back in the kitchen. At that point, I was very worried about even eating their food. They made a spectacle of us in front of the whole restaurant. And I literally was just trying to get a meal for my family to go. My younger daughter told me later that she overheard very derogatory things being said about my family by staff members. Before this even started. I stayed very calm the whole time, yet as I was walking out the same lady that said she would let it slide told me to have the night I deserve. I felt like that was an invitation for resolution. I tried to communicate to see if there was anything I could do to resolve the problem. I don’t like eating food from a negative source and I had spent to much money and I love Chang’s. And it was nearing my daughter’s bedtime and I didn’t have time to try and get my money back and go somewhere else. I know my older daughter was upset once everything was at its peak. And that made them mad. But what happened before that provoked her and she is still learning how to deal with BS. But I wanted to know how to prevent this from happening to other people of color or any customers. I don’t know why, but I tried to make peace, but they obviously had a problem. I just thought that since the price is the same for all you can eat and to go that I could fill a bowl of veggies up. And they obviously have been tasked with policing that. I can’t over fill a to-go box of spinach. And when I was corrected and given a pass I thought that was the end. Yes all you can eat and to-go are the same price. So for us to use an extra bowl and be treated like criminals and for my children to be called out and for a family to come in and pay a nice tip before even starting, this is outrageous. I am profoundly disappointed in the young people that worked tonight at Chang’s on 10/24/2024. Shame on you all. Sh

Changs Mongolian grill is my favorite restaurant on earth. A lot of them have gone cheap and try to pass off Pacific salad shrimp as a shrimp entree. That is a cheesiest move. But this one is not done that. They got real shrimp during dinner time. They're so good! This is the best change in Oregon. The only stupid thing they do is close from 2:00 to 4:30 or something like that.

It's my guilty pleasure food here in Beaverton. Service is great, cooking can be hit-or-miss (sometimes burnt, sometimes not). The top-up of ice cream is always a nice little treat. Very demure, very mindful.

Great service and a clean place. The waitress knew when to joke around and when nit to, stayed on top of refills, and was a joy to talk to.

However there were a severe lack of options. No shrimp or fake crab, both staples of most Mongolian BBQ places even for a lunch menu. There is a fish, but it is a flavorless talapia. Worse, no Mongolian sauce. Yes, this Mongolian grill doesn't even provide Mongolian sauce. The hot oil is diluted, I added enough to make mine a 5 alarm fire, but ended up with the heat of a sprinkle of black pepper. Severely spice limited, especially for those that love heat.

The cook is provided only a tiny metal spatula, so he ends up not moving the food around much, likely so he does not get burned. This results is burned noodles on one side, and raw on the other. All other places that I have been to, and I LOVE Mongolian carby goodness, have either long spatulas or long wooden utensils. This poor guy is stuck with a residential use piece that any other food service would have rejected. Either that or he wore it out with a lot of use. Either way, it needs replaced.

Add Mongolian to the options for a Mongolian meal, and give the cook proper tools so he can actually cook the food Mongolian style, and this place would be far better. Add real seafood options for the best place around. Everything else was spot on.

The water here tastes better than the water at the one on Cornell. Been going to Mongolian grill since highschool. Love AYCE, especially when it offers so much configuration. [Update] had a poor experience recently, asked to have my food cooked with crushed peppers, chef said no and wouldn't explain why in Spanish or English. They have peppers in the buffet, but breaking them up isn't as good and they don't disperse evenly.
