The wine tasting was excellent and the atmosphere was lovely! Sarah was super knowledgeable and even gave us a “wine tasting 101” session when we shared it was our first time doing a wine tasting. They’re also open to walk-ins for the tasting if you call ahead!
Beautiful setting, great customer service and top notch wines. Would highly recommend!
What a great tasting room! We learned so much from Matthew. Wow, the knowledge, love and dedication he has put into learning the wine making process is unremarkable. The wine from this vineyard is some of the best wines I’ve ever tasted and the experience we had from Matthew was second to none. I highly recommend!
Upon arrival the esthetics of the facility was not promising however, we had an amazing and educational experience with Matthew during our tasting. I would highly recommend. The wine produced by this vineyard is some of the best I have had. Do not sleep on this one.
We came here for a tasting, and it was probably one of my top 3 wine tastings I’ve ever done. Matthew was so knowledgeable about the wines and shared interesting information on the history of each wine, and answered all of our wine questions. It was so much fun! If you enjoy learning about what you’re drinking, I’d definitely recommend it.
My friend and I went wine tasting here for the first time for her birthday and I can’t express enough how much I appreciated this place. Matthew was wonderful! Polite, kind and taught us so much! The wine was of course wonderful as well. Highly recommend…. Thank you for a great experience!!
I really appreciated everything about this winery. The quality of the wines was outstanding. Our host Sara was extremely knowledgeable about wine in general as well as biodynamic practices. We had detailed brochures with tasting notes, prices and even maps to puruse as we tasted and nibbled on wonderful charcuterie next to the vineyard. It's nice to see a Willamette area winery keeping their bottle prices extremely reasonable and keeping chemicals out of their farming process.
We celebrated Mother day with my mom and family and the staff were all very friendly and welcoming. It was fun to learn about the different wines and every wine we tried was great!! We would definitely go back
So impressed with the quality, service, and demonstrated knowledge at this cute winery! Incredible history, awareness of environmental impact, and went above & beyond in explaining each wine to us as we had a tasting. We learned a lot but more importantly, enjoyed AMAZING wine. The biodynamic process made much more of a difference than expected to the flavor, and we couldn’t stop raving about every wine we tried - especially the rosè, which isn’t normally our favorite! We walked away with a few bottles (which worked out as a certain spend will cover your tasting fee).Great service, great quality, and all around a great experience. It is small, so I would definitely call ahead or book a reservation for a tasting. Not sure what other reviews are referring to in terms of the service or bugs? We didn’t experience any of that and saw no sign of it - maybe just a fluke. It is true that there isn’t a lot of food, just charcuterie, so maybe grab lunch elsewhere and then head over for a tasting!
Small and intimate wine tasting experience. We really liked learning all about the different biodynamic wines at this vineyard. A generous tasting and wonderful hosts.

Good wine, but no menu or pricing information available prior to purchase. Also, infested with tiny moth-like bugs. So uncomfortable as they fly into your hair an clothing and come home with you. Pretty gross had to leave prematurely. The sommelier was very nice and informative on the plus side! Probably wouldn’t come back due to the bugs.
I stopped by on Sunday while driving in the neighborhood. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by Tally and she was holding a beautiful charcuterie and cheese platter. She told me she would be right back to help me once she dropped it off. She was very sweet, bubbly, and patient with me. She was able to assist me with questions regarding membership. Unfortunately I didn’t have time for a tasting but am excited to come back and experience her service and the wine!
My partner and I had such a wonderful outside tasting at Cooper Mountain Vineyards! Our host was Matthew and he was very attentive, professional, and so knowledgeable about the wines. He clearly has a passion for what he does. Also, during our tasting we had the pleasure to meet the fabulous Barbara (Operations Director for Cooper Mountain) and head winemaker, Gilles! Both were so charming, funny, and so very welcoming. And then, there was the WINE! Yum! We enjoyed all the wines, but were especially fond of the Old Vines Pinot Noir and the Pinot Gris! Their Gamay was also quite tasty with vibrant color, great fruity flavor, and smooth texture that made it easy to sip. Highly recommend you make an effort to taste at this pioneering biodynamic winery. I have so much respect for what they do. We'll most definitely be back!
The wine was great, but unfortunately it fell short of my expectations of any winery. There were no descriptions of the wine or even prices for that matter given to me. Generally, you are given explanations on the origins of the grape and tasting notes, but that was not the case. That being said, the wine was very good and would consider buying it if I saw it stocked locally.
Great wine, great hospitality and great service, Alicia guided us through the various selections of wine on our tasting, and gave us a thorough background history of the winery.
