We went to this fine relocated Beaverton restaurant after making a verbal phone call reservation several days in advance. The reason for the lower rating was due to the hostess who could not find my reservation. I had even received a text message several days earlier confirming my reservation which I did respond to and still the hostess could not find our reservation. It is a little disconcerting arriving at a restaurant and being told you do not have a reservation especially on a busy evening prior to Christmas. Of course, I could not locate the confirmation text on my iPhone thanks to an updated text format but finally did find it after a while. We were eventually seated inspite of being told that we didn't have a dinner reservation. We enjoyed a great meal and great service, myself having the lasagna and my friend had the signature sturgeon dish. Again, this is a great Beaverton restaurant which I went to when their location was on Watson which lacked adequate parking but moving to their present location has solved that problem.
We had a wonderful meal at decarli last night for our anniversary. The short ribs truly deserve the hype, we were blown away. The seafood pasta was amazing as well. Cocktails were well balanced with good variety. My partner loves classic cocktails and I love unique ones and they had a selection of both. He was a big fan of the walnut bitters old fashioned. We split a steak tartare appetizer and a salted caramel cheesecake for dessert. Our server was very warm and attentive despite the busy restaurant, and our food came out quickly. This was our first time at decarli and we left with a very positive first impression. Great atmosphere, romantic without feeling stuffy. I am confused by some of the reviews- who cares it’s in a strip mall? Parking was easy and it’s not like we’re in NYC, it’s Beaverton we’re talking about. 10 years ago the whole town was basically a strip mall. Overall 5 stars and we will be back.

Long time was we went this restaurant we liked a lot and our anniversary we were thinking about Decali ….. was nice and we enjoyed their service and food .. Fresh and amazing food in Beaverton area (oregon)
Food was actually not good at all and when the server came back she said I see you pushed your plates away and didn't eat I'll go box up your things and didn't even ask once if we liked our food! She didn't have a second to check in on us once to see how things were going. Wild. But we will not be returning. Such a bummer!

The hard surfaces make it a little loud but the food makes up for it 100x over.

My partner and I had dinner with our new frinds last night. I recommended this restaurant because it's clean, the staff is always friendly, and their food is good. I ordered the shortribs and I thought it was a bit too garlicky this time. I LOVE garlic, but it had the bitterness taste of raw garlic. The beef was tender and tasted good as I remebered. Our server was very friendly and patient― He tried not to interrupt our conversation. decarli is hands down one of our favorite restaurants in Portland.

I have been coming here since it opened in the old location. The food is amazing and they have great mixed drinks. I like to think it is NW inspired Italian food. But not the heavy pasta type of food, good clean simple but complex flavors. The short rub is by far my favorite.

I obviously miss the old location's old charm, but they did a great job with bringing that into the new space. And parking is also better!
Everyone there was just so kind, and the food was absolutely incredible. We ended up getting salmon, salads, and fries and enjoyed everything.
It might have been our particular booth, but the padding in the booth was basically flat, and we sank down pretty deep. It's not a deal breaker, but I figured people should be aware in case of mobility issues

Wonderful evening - we were there to celebrate our anniversary and both the hostess and our waiter welcomed and congratulated us, and offered us a little champagne to toast with which was unexpected and so nice. The food was excellent, cocktails were on point and dessert was delicious too. The service was amazing, we love coming here, especially for special occasions.

This was one of the best meals, if not THE best meal we’ve had. We had an unplanned night out, came from out of town and chose from Google. We were beyond impressed with both the quality, creativeness, and taste of the food. Completely inspiring. The service was completely professional. We were served by the bartender, who was new and open about that, but always made sure to get us a thorough answer for every question we had. No complaints. So so good. This is where we will go next time we’re back in town for doctor appointment.

This place is not worth the money they charge and the food is gross. Not a single person (6 of us) at our table liked our food. Definitely will never go back!

Although the service and atmosphere were excellent, we were disappointed in the food offered for “happy hour”. The short rib beef sandwich looked great however the taste was a disappointment. Also, there is no value in happy hour as you are only saving $2 on well drinks and paying full price on the food. My advice is to skip the happy hour menu as the food is marginal and options are slim.
I had high hopes for Decarli, but honestly, it felt a bit overrated. The space is nice and the service was fine, but the food didn’t quite live up to the hype. It wasn’t terrible, just underwhelming for the price and reputation. The flavors felt a bit flat, and nothing really stood out as memorable. With so many great spots in the area, I’m not sure I’d rush back.
Good food and excellent service 👌
