I have been here a couple of times the first time I got a bbq pulled pork sandwich and I heard the angels singing yes it was this good,so I came back not expecting that a brisket sandwich will change my life so soft tender and full of flavor I loved it!
The people are super nice and ready to give you the best service please come, buy a sandwich,tip the guys repeat..you won't regret it.

Gave me some hard meat. Everything was gross
If I could 0 stars I would, they “were out” of what I ordered so instead of calling they literally sent my doordasher NOTHING!! I spent 70 dollars for 4 sides!!!!!!!! And when I called they said “don’t know what to tell you” it was ice cold sides and “green beans with bacon” HAS NO BACON!!!!!

Ordered 2 (2) plate (2) meat deals. Got only 6 of the 8 sides and 2 of the sides we did get were wrong. Meat was greasy and fatty. Tried contacting store phone was not going through $58+ dinner not worth it. Poor customer service. Used to be really good
Their food is good. Just like the last review said - this isn’t southern bbq. I never leave reviews but am just so frustrated with their service. Every time I go in, the employees either act like they just woke up and don’t know where they are or are super annoyed that they have to help someone. If there was another mediocre bbq place close, I’d go there but there isn’t. I am just giving honest feedback because I’d really like to see it improve.

I don't think this place deserves all the hateful reviews it gets. This is Oregon, not South Carolina or Texas. Oregon in general lacks diversity of food choices, so you'll be hard pressed to find better BBQ unless you want to drive miles and miles away. As someone who had a dad from Louisiana, flavor is important to me. Dickey's will give you a BBQ fix if you need it, and at a decent pricepoint for PDX. Is Dickey's the best? Heck no, but it is definitely not the worst or even close to the worst. It's a mid-grade BBQ place. I WILL say, that the pulled pork is the most tender pulled pork I've ever had, so tender that even your toothless granny could eat it. The mac and cheese tastes good for just noodles and cheese sauce, but is definitely missing.....something. I couldn't do the fried okra, but that's not their fault probably, I guess I'll just stick to pickled okra since it's the only form of it that's not slimy apparently. The fries were pretty good and did not taste like dirty oil as some have suggested. The ranch sauce they make is awful, like on par with McDonald's ranch sauce - more tang than flavor, buy hidden valley and save your money with that.

My pork was very dry. Payed way too much for subpar food.
Great BBQ spot! Brisket and pulled pork sandwiches were great, some of the best we've had since moving to Oregon. Took a bit of time to place an order due to tons of online orders but we didn't mind the wait for a Saturday afternoon. Everyone working was super nice and helped with the ordering process since it was our first time there. Will definitely go again.

Disgusting. Second time this month I ordered from Dickie's. Last time they messed up the baked potato. This time The didn't have any baked potatoes. I ordered for pickup and set the time for 45 minutes. They didn't have time to make a baked potato? Or fresh fries?! Look at those nasty grey fries. They smelled like dirty oil.
