Don's Favorite Foods

What a wonderful experience tonight at Don's on a special occasion! We enjoyed the tradition and story-driven menu, the attentive service, and the cozy, inviting dining room. Each dish was outstanding, but the clam linguine, Meyer lemon granita, and sesame popovers were favorites. We made plans for our next visit before we even left the restaurant. Highly recommended!

What a treat, an amazing dinner in a very intimate, fun space. It was a marvelous, one of a kind experience.

Each dish and wine pairing was thoughtfully curated and prepared. No negative notes. Will be coming back for celebratory dinners and when we have foodie friends visiting.

My wife and I came here for our anniversary and absolutely loved it. The food is incredible and incorporated both flavor and texture I've never even experienced before. I'm going to just rave about the food for a minute. The mushroom manicotti crepe was the best I've ever had hands down. The crepe was delicate and the filling was so smooth and luxurious. The pistachio pesto was similarly inspired. I love pesto and eat a lot of it and I'd never had pesto like that. The beef braciole fell apart on the fork and I loved the layers of flavor with filling, sauce, and squash. The last two dishes, the concord grape granita and the pumpkin semifreddo, were just insanely good. Don came by to tell us about each course, and service was attentive without interrupting the conversation. Speaking of which, the atmosphere in this place rules. I loved that we could see the kitchen, and the music was tasteful and not too loud to talk. The decor is great too and backed up the intimate feel. Thanks Don & co for an amazing evening!

This is an experience worth every $ with the quality of food, attention to detail and chill vibe atmosphere. Don and Adam are two of the most unassuming owners / servers you will ever meet. We were in Oregon from out of state for our 30th wedding anniversary and will return. Don's place is a destination .

My third time there because the food is beyond fabulous. I am hooked. Every month is a different menu. I have never been disappointed. Plus Don delivers each course to the table and describes everything. His business partner, Adam, does the same and is very attentive to our needs. The service is as fabulous as the food. I can't wait to go next month and surprise my mouth with incredibly delicious food.

Don's was an amazing experience, everything was perfectly paired and delicious. The small intimate dining room provided great atmosphere for a perfect anniversary celebration. Don's table side service and introduction of each dish added to the overall experience. The wine pairings were fantastic as well, adding to delicious dishes! The scallops and filet were some of the best we've ever had!

We've been here twice now and I dare say this is some of the best food in Portland. The vintage decor, friendly staff, and effortless perfection of this place makes it an amazing experience. The food is really unmatched and both tasting menus we've had have been absolutely incredible.

Don's is a rare gem that checks all of the boxes - fantastic food, great service, and a welcoming atmosphere. The team never disappoints. Thank goodness it is located in downtown Beaverton - if it were located in Portland, it would be impossible to get a table.

This place is such an absolute gem. Every detail is perfect, but especially the food and service. (I could write an entire separate review of the cool decor, vintage plates, and glassware - it's all so thoughtfully chosen.) We have been a couple of times before for dinner which is usually elevated Italian, but we were intrigued by this month's French menu and it was just as delicious if not more so. Each bite of each course is a delightful, and the wine pairings if you choose them are extraordinary. It is admittedly spendy, but definitely worth the price and I hope Beaverton is graced with this hidden treasure for years to come.

We love Don's and this was the best meal we've had at Don's. Always a great experience and fantastic food.
