Outstanding food, service, ambiance, everything. The food was consistently refined but unpretentious, and every bite was balanced and sooo yummy. The service was a level of fine dining that we don't otherwise get in Beaverton, but still totally relaxed. It's a set menu, six courses the night we were there (maybe always?), each one delivered by Don with an explanation and background. Tiny space, make a reservation.

Had a great meal at Don's tonight! Every single item was perfect, from the right amount of char on the octopus to the roasted pineapple atop the Zuppa Inglese. And there was Braciole! We went with the wine pairing option which was also good. Nice that there were half or full glass options on that. Both Don and Adam (the sommelier) were fabulous hosts who made us feel very welcome. Nice vintage china and glassware, and interesting music choices. Think 60s and 70s TV and movie soundtrack kind of stuff. Perfect evening!

A meal here is an experience. Excellent menu, skillfully prepared by a chef who is more than happy to discuss the details in as much detail as you care to listen to. It's a prix fixe, with a set menu, which very reasonably can't be altered much as it's a tiny kitchen, and a very low count of meals served each day. If it's not your bag, don't go, but if it is, it's special. I don't know if there's enough audience for this kind of experience in this area; I hope so. So many folks who spend $100 per person for a meal expect glitz and glamour. This lacks that. I like that. Not all will, but if you appreciate finely prepared meals, this is it.

Phenomenal! My wife and I went for Valentine's Day and it was a magical experience! To begin, we were a bit early and the previous diners were running a bit long so Kate offered to come grab us at the nearby saloon while we waited. This was incredibly kind, and greatly appreciated. The portions on the food were perfect, if wanting you to have more of each course since it was so incredibly delicious. The shellfish, the salad, the pasta with the popover (never had before and it was heavenly!), and the filet Mignon which has ruined all future steaks for me. The desert was decadent and had the right amount of chocolate, sweetness, and flavor that made each bite an experience unto itself.I regret not getting the wine pairing, but thankfully our fellow diners did and they were praising it after every sip (that FOMO hits hard) and the sommelier was kind, knowledgeable, and apparently knew his stuff. We're excited to go back and see what new creations Don and Kate create!Thank you so very much for a one-of-a-kind experience in a beautiful and intimate place.

Don's Favorite Foods has a supper club vibe . The food is amazing and the corkage fee is only 20 dollars. It is worth the trip to downtown Beaverton to see what Don and Adam are up to!

Opened early December 2023 and excited we finally got a chance to check them out! The January menu was saying all the right things. We got there just before 5pm for our reservation and waited outside but turns out we could have gone inside if I used a little more muscle on the door ;) What an atmosphere to behold! Only 5 tables in this amazing space. The music, decor, and mood had us right away. Everyone is welcoming and gracious. Only just being seated and we were. already thinking of the next time we could return. You're taken to a different place and a different time. It's a joyful experience. Adam their sommelier is knowledgeable and charming. The dishes were all thoughtfully prepared and timed perfectly. Each dish was our new favorite. We could not be more pleased with the quality of food and service, and the genuinely kind people just made us feel like life could not be better than tonight. Highly recommend getting the wine pairing and I'm trying to figure how to get here once a month to check out the new menus! Book it!

Fantastic experience. We enjoyed the January menu, featuring clams casino with focaccia, housemade rigatoni alla vodka, and panzetta. All dishes were incredible-- my wife proclaimed the rigatoni the best pasta she's ever had. Don personally delivered and introduced each dish. We had fun breaking down the differences between the Rochester cassata cake he grew up on versus the style I knew from Cleveland's Little Italy neighborhood. Don and Kate have built a warm, cozy place that definitely exudes a relaxed 70s vibe. Give me a Genny Cream Ale and I would have been right there in Rochester. We'll be back!

The January prix-fixe menu was a dream! Everything was fresh and thoughtfully prepared. Love the intimate atmosphere and the feel of the entire establishment. Highly recommend getting the wine pairing with your meal. Could not have had a better experience. Our hearts and bellies were full!

What a magical night! Every course outdid the previous one. The service was warm and friendly. The food was outstanding. I'm still thinking about the rigatoni and the veal breast! A lovely, charming restaurant that we will definitely return to!!

We were thrilled about the addition of a meal that included their "famous" Eggplant Parmigiano. But as good as it was, it was surpassed by two other courses of our fixed course vegetarian meal. The experience here exceeds the quality of so many fine dining options. Every course was carefully plated, perfect temperature when it arrived at the table, good variety of tastes and textures. There is a lot of food but you can bring home any you can't finish and the portions felt right on. My favorites were the antipasti course and the "salad" 4th course but every single item was delicious. Warmly welcomed by staff.
