Food is fantastic, very authentic. Prices are very reasonable. Portions are very reasonable. The restaurant is super clean. The reason for 3 stars is that the owner is a jerk. Bad attitude. You can see it clearly from his responses here. I have been going here since he was on 99 in Tigard, I see that he has maintained the quality of the food AND his bad attitude and arrogance.

Edit: see the response from owner. He just doesn’t see himself as a sorry excuse for customer service. All the customers who have issues are wrong and he’s always right. Bro I came in, you hardly lifted your head from your conversation with your visiting buddy. Also, my review about your awful attitude is also based on your attitude I witnessed when you were on 99. Maybe take what people are seeing to heart, reflect, and change your behavior instead of attacking every single person who leaves a negative comment. You need to grow up and act like a business owner instead of like a petulant toddler.

I moved here in June of 2024 and I have been struggling to find a good Mediterranean restaurant. Everywhere I looked I would see outrageous prices of $18 for chicken shawarma. I literally couldn’t justify spending that much and not even getting any hummus or pita or anything else with it. But I saw a TikTok where someone reviewed this place and I gave it a shot. I couldn’t have been more pleased! The service was fantastic and he was super nice! The prices were very reasonable and the food was delicious. Finally found some quality, well priced food! Please go support this business!

Not bad. But not great either. The gyros are served in a wrap rather than in pita bread which is an interesting change.

My wife and I were turned away at the door prior to the marked closing time because the worker felt like closing early, so he could go home early. This laziness and selfishness wasted my time: 1/5 service.

As a worker, your store's marked closing time represents the time you stop service, not the time you walk out the door. If you want to go home at 7:30, then you should stop service and start cleaning up at 6:30, and your posted closing time should be 6:30.

Edit: the owner replied to this saying I came at 7:18. Even if I did, the point stands. You cleaned and cleared out the restaurant before your marked closing time. You're objectively wrong, but instead of apologizing here, you admit that you were wrong *and* double down? I would also say you weren't especially polite--you curtly turned us away. But you're also a liar; we arrived at 7:15, which is plenty of time to fill a to go order for a place with "Express" in its name. You didn't just close when we showed up either-- the whole place was freshly cleaned and the gyro was off the rack--you started closing down well before 7, so don't pretend this is a matter of minutes. Your attitude of callous disrespect for your customers is disgraceful.

Wow this place is SO good!! The falafel was super flavorful and well spiced. The chicken was really juicy and delicious. The portions were great! All around this place really impressed us and we will definitely be back.

Just go here and get a Chicken Shawarma. Realize it's the best Shawarma you've ever had then return one million more times. Once you reach that number, you can branch out and hit the other stuff on the menu - it's all great. If you have a short lunch break - don't worry it's always quick even with multiple orders going so bring your friends, parents, or that guy from HR you met a few years ago who's going to land you a job after you take them to a delicious lunch at a locally owned family restaurant. They've got great prices so if the job doesn't work out you're not even out much cash and you're on your way to 1 million Shawarmas.

I honestly have no idea if I should capitalize Shawarma but in this context it feels like I should so I am. Enjoy!
