Too heavy on the sauce and light on meat. Not great flavor

Kid-friendliness: It’s outdoors, has lots of benches and a grassy area, with a few fire pits. Half of it is also covered. And most tables have an umbrella

The Burger was excellent and I really enjoyed it. But $14 for a burger that doesn't come with fries or even a bag of chips is waaaay overpriced on my budget. Glad I tried them, but I won't be back

If you love a fried chicken sandwich or a smash burger, this is the spot for you. The food is consistently great, the service is stellar and you can't complain about the indoor outdoor dining options hosted by the Breakside Brewery. Must try for a date night or family outing.

I had lunch here with some friends a couple of weeks ago on a Friday and arrived at 11:45a and it was easy to get a table on the patio and it was a nice day. Decided to try the smashburger at Farmer and Beast and it was REALLY good. My friend had the impossible burger version and he liked it a lot too. I took two points off for service as I ordered on their iPad and input my GoogleVoice number and they were supposed to text me when my food was ready. They never did. I had to go up and ask for my food and it was just sitting there ready for pick up.

Burgers are pretty good. If they have the po boy as the food special, definitely stay away from it. Shrimp is battered and deep fried, but is the full shrimp (shell, head-on, tail-on, not deveined). This is not indicated on the menu board and it was impossible to eat. Never had a po boy with unshelled shrimp. I had to throw it out and order something else.

The perfect meal!
We walked up to the cart and placed an order - the tablet is super easy to use and lets you customize with alllll the options.
I added braised bacon steak and pickled jalapenos.
My husband ordered his with no lettuce, extra cheese and onion.

We added a side of fries with special sauce, a Strawberry Fields salad and two Strawberry Farmer-Ades.

The picture doesn't do it justice- the smash burgers were perfectly done- crispy lacy edges, melty cheese. Doesn't get much better. The braised bacon steak was so tender and added a smoky punch to the burger.

Fries are a great addition- crispy outside, soft inside and just the right amount of salt. You can tell they're hand cut and fresh!

The Strawberry Fields salad was loaded with beautiful big strawberries and the flavors of the basil, fennel and almond crunch were layered so nicely with the perfect amount of texture.

Farmer-ades were so refreshing and a great balance of sweet and tart.

I can't think of anything more perfect than our afternoon here enjoying this meal in the sunshine! We will definitely will be back!

Textbook smash burger! Crispy lacey edge patty. Go for double cheese and they'll melt it down to the griddle so you get crunchy cheese corners. Soft, steamy bun soaks up the onion juices and rendered beef fat. George Motz would be proud.

Ordered the Strawberry Fields salad. Barely any strawberries. Cost was $14. Really disappointing.

The vegan sandwich was pretty good, but the deep fried chicken sandwich was dry and basic. Customer service wasn’t pleasant, but that wasn’t the deal breaker. There are better options in Beaverton, which is saying something considering the food scene around here isn’t spectacular.

PRO: absolutely incredible burger. Everything about it was great. fries were good though a little old and cold.CON: the tablet ordering. Hard to see the greasy finger smudged screen in the afternoon sun. And took way longer than just telling someone what you want who already knows how to quickly navigate the interface. And then to be asked for a 22, 20 or 18% tip? For what? I ordered myself and I picked it up. That's the service part for which tipping applies...
