A bit expensive but you get decent amount of food for what you pay for. Like the salad or soup that comes with the meal is sizable. Some dishes could feed 2 easy. Taste was good and had solid flavor. Service was ok, they were busy so I understand. Nice little place with good seating, even for large parties

Classic Italian restaurant! Very homey vibe! Went for lunch, great deals! Lunch specials for around $12 that come with bread and salad! The fettuccine Alfredo was creamy and delicious, enough for 2 meals! I ordered the combo pizza to take home, really fresh and delicious crust! Very good pizza! I added pineapple and my only complaint is it only had maybe 1 or 2 on each slice! Other than that the customer service was great!

Had high hopes for this place it’s sad we didn’t get to try out there food but the waitress right away was super rude, we didn’t want to sit right next to the door and ask politely if we can move and before I could even say we don’t mind waiting she said “mmmm no, your server is busy with other tables” so we left.

Family spot. Nice and quiet. Michael buble was playing all night, might wanna change the playlist a little. Chicken Parm was great. Lots leftover. Great price, big portions. Servers were all very nice. Seems like takeout here is big too. Good location, good parking. Walkable to other bars and restaurants in the area.

This was our first time here and we were disappointed. It took 45 minutes for four of us to get our food. The biggest disappointment was the service, as it was incredibly slow at 7 pm on a weeknight. One person said their fettuccine alfredo sauce was gritty and the lettuce in the salad tasted off.The rest of us enjoyed our food, but it wasn't anything spectacular, which is too bad because we were looking forward to trying this restaurant.Additionally, the bathrooms are incredibly small. If someone has mobility issues, and needs to use the restroom, in some cases it's not going to be possible, and that's a problem.

Every time I’ve walked by here, the delicious smells of bread and pasta made me comment how good it smells. So my spouse and I decided to treat ourselves to lunch here and we were so glad we did! They have specials everyday for lunch and dinner — I had the ravioli and salad while my spouse had the cannelloni and salad, all of which were delicious! Each was served with a large slice of their garlic bread which we figured out was the source of the delicious smells emanating from the restaurant. A great local, family restaurant and my new fave Italian food place!

We had a 15 minutes wait which was what was experiencedGood food.. For me the servings were way too large. If we go back we will share a meal so we don't waste the food.

The food was good. The pizza looked very appetizing. My only issue was the crush was dry. It would be great if they add some sort of garlic oil/butter for it to have flavor and not be dry. The stramboli was okay too. Again, missing that touch of a flavor. Our order was take out and it was ready within the time they had told me. Staff seemed busy but in a good mood.

Hello everyone,Recently, I went to Giovanni's for the second time in my life, as the last time I was there with my family, we got takeout. This time, we dined in. I was here with my mom, a family friend, and my best friend on International Woman's Day, where we had dinner and spent quality girl time together. The atmosphere of the restaurant was really nice, as was the decore. Our server was very nice and knowledgeable on all the dishes that you can order at this restaurant. We each got a dish and a pizza for everyone to share. Everything was very delicious ?. Giovanni's is the perfect family restaurant and get together place for best friends. I will totally come back again.Sincerely, a happy customer.

For Portland area Italian this was pretty solid. The only vegetarian sauce option was mushroom, though it wasn't too mushroomy, so that was good.

Wow wow wow.I don’t even know where to start. My family’s wanted to try this place for the past 5 years, because we’ve always been curious.Well.This food is terrible. Absolutely terrible. We ordered well over 100$ in food (spaghetti, chicken parm, lasagna, seafood Alfredo, 2 soups, salads, cheesy bread, garlic bread, and cannolis. The only thing my family actually finished was the salad and the bread. The chicken parm was that of jail variety. The spaghetti was just weird tasting. The lasagna tasted like a microwave meal from the freezer section at grocery outlet.Going to be surprised if the seafood pasta doesn’t give us food poisoning. The chicken noodle soup was actually good, and the minestrone wasn’t good. The cannolis tasted like chalk on the outside and sadness on the inside AND they were half full. (Filled on ends only, not all the way through)This is where you go when you want to spend a lot more money; for hospital food.Dollar tree Olive Garden.Perhaps just go to Olive Garden. My Sicilian ancestors are upsetty spaghetti with me right now for wasting my money here.Boo Giovanni’s, boo.
