Ordered their classic poke and the tuna was far from fresh. It has a strong fishy odor, had to throw it away. Disappointed.

Used to be go to place for us, was close and good. Some time ago prices went up considerably and portion size went down. I suspect their current closure is result of that. Do one or the other, not both.

My order seemed like it was yesterday's leftovers. Kalua Pork was dry and had burn marks all over. The Lemon Chicken was dry and tough, I felt like I was eating beef jerky. Very Disappointing!!

Overpriced, mediocre taste and definitely not Asian fusion. More like terrible Hawaiian barbecue knock off.

Fried chicken was dry. Mac and cheese was bland. Noodle was tasteless. They need to work on their flavors !

Excellent place. We love the spam masubi.

Since they changed hands just not the same. Shoyu chicken was dry and tasted old. Mac salad is bland. Basically will not be going back. Short ribs were tasty but thru out the rest.

Definitely not worth the price for the portions.

Really disappointed with our visit today. The hours changed due to staffing, which is understandable (we work in restaurants too!). We choose to wait 2 hours for them to open again. I understand that's on us.We ordered take out and one of the sides was wrong, chicken katsu didn't come with any of the sauce, both orders of teriyaki chicken are very dry. Honestly I don't even think there's teriyaki on either of them. The yakisoba noodles are very dry and bland. This is a huge bummer, I'm sure I will try it again but if this becomes a regular thing we will have to find somewhere else to go. I'm really rooting for the business, I've been going to Hapa for over 10 years. Weve always loved the food and the employees. This was just bad food.

I had high hopes for this place.. yakisoba was a little sweet, very clumpy, not good & a bit mooshy not worth $4.. kids chicken (yellow) curry wasn't katsu like menu said & was spicy which isn't good for kids & I love spicy food. The portion for kids for $6.50 was pretty small. Mac salad was bland & overcooked, tiny portion for $4. They get an extra star cause their curry was good like any average Thai curry

Underwhelming and overpriced food. Decor and service were great, but my boyfriend and I were very disappointed by the quality of food. 1. Spam musubi - $2.50, but it was a very thin piece of spam and a large portion of rice. Spam is relatively cheap, I wish it were thicker. 2. Chicken katsu sliders with fries - $8, also very thin piece off chicken katsu and it was very underwhelming and bland. 3. Hawaiian Island style plate with korean fried chicken - $8.50, not sure how this is korean chicken at all. It's literally chicken nuggets with aioli sauce. Mac salad was tasteless. I came here for convenience and being in the area and super hungry, but was disappointed and won't be coming back. You'll find better Hawaiian food at L&L's.

The location is nice and clean. The good isn't anything supreme. Portion was really small o payed $16.00 for lunch and it didn't come with rice. The owner I assume was nice enough to give me a scoop when I went back to buy some. So there's the extra star.

We've been going here for a very long time, over 10 years easy, and recently I've come to realize that it's honestly just not great anymore. The portions are incredibly small for the cost, and I'm not a big eater. A strange thing is that rice doesn't come with meals by default that typically have rice--chicken teriyaki. You use one of your sides for rice, then if you wanted mac you have to bump up the the "kahuna" plate to have 2 sides. We just had 3 meals, and spent almost $50 with tip included, which is was forced me to finally do a review. I really want this to be good, because it's convenient, but alas you've lost a few customers. The mac salad has no flavor, I one point it was at least creamy, but anymore it's just yellow noodles. Also, it's literally almost 100 degrees and the large bay door is open, so it's equally as hot in there for the workers and people waiting. Overall, just really disappointed. I think the down hill slide relates to new ownership that has been mentioned, that's the only thing that helps this make sense.

Place serves decent food and decent prices. I usually get the grilled Habachi salmon and it is consistently good (out of 6 orders, one time was mediocre). Has a large variety of sides to choose from, but I generally go for the veggies. Highly recommend the sambal sauce (not sriracha) if you're into spicy. Out of the 10 or so times I visited, they were out once, so that made me kind of sad.

We've been meaning to try this place for years since it's so close to home. I don't know why it took so long, but we finally visited. We ordered online through their website, not Grubhub because they upcharge a ton. It was easy to order and easy to pick up. You still can't dine in, but we didn't want to anyway, so it was fine. It wasn't crazy busy so pick up was fast. Our food was ready and waiting when we got there and still hot when we got back. My husband ordered the Katsu chicken with rice and Mac salad. He thought it was pretty good and said he'd get it again. He also ordered the spam musubi because he's been wanting to try one of those for a long time. He enjoyed that as well. I ordered the spicy pork. It was salty and had an okay taste. My husband thought it tasted funny, but I didn't think it was that off. It just didn't taste great. I got rice and fries on the side. The rice was normal. The fries though...I've never had saltier fries. They seemed like they were rolled in salt. They were also undercooked. It wasn't a terrible experience, but we've definitely had better Hawaiian food.
