I’ve been here probably 3 times in the past week and a half because they’re so good! I had to get my siblings in on it too. Pros: They really cater to the tea. Most boba places dump too much sugar and/or milk and call it good, but you can actually taste the tea come through with these drinks. The sweetness levels even at 70% were not that sweet! Didn’t feel like I was drinking diabetes. Cons: Inconsistency. The first couple times I went were great, but the last time I felt my 70% sweetness tasted even sweeter than before.

I'm giving a 5 star because I usually LOVE hechalou. Today, however, I got a brown sugar matcha latte w boba, but they forgot the matcha? So it just tasted like milk with brown sugar boba. I was too scared to go back in and ask for the matcha though😅 So still 5 stars but hoping that the baristas will be more mindful next time!!!

Fantastic tea. This is one of those more traditional places that the toppings have been well flavored, so in my case I only got 50% sweetness and it was still decently sweet even though I ordered a more acidic drink. Another person in our party got the fruit tea with full sugar and that was almost unbearably sweet for us, so take that into consideration.

Been here several times and they always make it on point! This place offers one of the best tea selection in town. The lychee black tea with aloe and added almond jelly is to die for! If it’s your first time here I recommend the signature black tea latte, it’s the best one I had so far.

Really good black milk tea. My rating is based on how much I love the black milk tea and the milk tea jelly. There are some things on the menu that are subpar such as the matcha or some of the fruit teas or plain teas which is why I give it one less star. It’s self-order and it comes out pretty fast! Cute place as well
