Ickabods is awesome! The atmosphere was great, there was live music playing when we arrived, and the staff was super friendly and got us seated quickly. I had the firecracker prawns which were cooked perfectly with a delicious spicy sauce and green onions. I also had the mac and cheese with pesto added and I loved that too. The cheese was top notch and had a long pull 👌 my date had a pulled pork sandwich which was also on point and had a great smoky flavor. The cocktails were delicious as well. We tried the creamsicle the Bumbu brew and a bloody mary. Our server was very personable and had great recommendations. The whole place was very clean and the prices were very affordable. We will be back to try some other dishes soon!

Lively little place after 9pm on a weekend night! Bit loud for me but I am the quiet type and it was just the customers ;) Food was delicious and great cider options for cider people like me. Peach apricot was yummy. Prawn linguini also fantastic

I walked in to get food and meet up with my friends but I got kicked out before even sitting down. I was there first one there so i was going to grab a table for my friends. There was a sign by the front door that said wait to be seated so i stood around for a bit. No one came up and the bartender was giving me looks/glances so i motioned at the sign and he looked away. I walked up to the bar and the bartender immediately said he wouldn't serve me. I asked if their kitchen was open and he just repeated himself and then said i was intoxicated and wobbling around. Mind you, i drove there from my house, fresh out the gym. No alcohol, no food in my system. I asked if we could just get a table to ONLY get food and he said he felt uncomfortable serving me. I was very confused, i looked around and a lot of the patrons were giving me funny looks. So i left. Very uncomfortable environment, gave me very racist vibes due to the blatant excuse and condescending looks the bartender gave me.

I am ADDICTED TO ICKABOD'S. I have worked within 4 blocks for 10 years and am just now experiencing how WONDERFUL their food is. I have had their homemade soup for the last 4 days, and every soup is perfectly made in-house! The flavor and quality of the soup is incredible. I have had their burger for the first time, which makes my tastebuds do backflips. Yesterday, I had the chicken bites, and it was better than I have EVER had anywhere. It's a blessing that I found out how satisfying and AMAZING their food is to my picky food expectations, but unfortunately, I may have a New Year's Resolution with the scale.

Service was excellent. The comfort food on a cold rainy night was tasty. I enjoyed the Chicken Fried Stack with fries and coleslaw.
The atmosphere was appropriate for a Saturday night. The music was loud and the people were loud.
The bar and restaurant were not crowded this night.
I will visit Ickabod's again.
Kid-friendliness: This is not a space for children to run around. Good for happy sitting kids.

This is my favorite bar in the area, and I hope to become a regular here. I’ve never felt the need to gatekeep anything before but I almost don’t want to leave a review because I want to keep this place all to myself. The menu has a lot of variety but I find myself ordering the same things over again because it’s so delicious. It’s also reasonably priced and the only place where I’m shocked by the bill in a good way. The staff are all amazing, but the woman with the short red hair always makes my day.
Came for a grilled cheese, stayed for the cioppino. May be time of day and day of the week, but it was a deliberare visit that proved beneficial. Lovely staff, on point foods.
