I almost don't want to review this place to keep it a secret. This place is truly the best restaurant in Portland. I'm glad I don't live close to this place or I'd go broke quick.
The food was just ok. Too much rice around the rolls. It was almost all rice. We ended up picking at each roll to take out the rice. Spider rolls and tempura was not crispy. Service was ok. Waiter was came and asked if I wanted more water, but never came back. Our two dishes were $45. Probably will kept go back.

Drove an hour to visit Ikenohana.
The fish is like butter. Ordered tempura - delicious! 3 rolls - delicious! Sashimi Deluxe - AMAZING! The miso soup is some of the best I've had. The rice was perfectly cooked.
2 waitresses worked the entire dining floor, please tip them generously, they hussle!! We were tended to so well, I can't recall the last time I experienced...
