Had a great coffee and played a chess match with my grandson. He crushed me!

Insomnia Coffee Co - Tanasbourne is a cute little cafe. I went in for a snack early in the morning. They didn't really have many options, so I got a rose croissant ($6). I hadn't had one before, so I was quite curious to try it. It tasted really sweet and delicious and had a rosy scent. It wasn't that cheap. The interior of the cafe was quite cozy and relaxing with the scent of coffee the moment you walk in. There were tons of people on laptops sitting in all the seats, so I didn't really have a chance to sit inside. They do have a small seating area outside, but it was quite cold, so I just walked and ate.

Busy, cozy, quirky. Fun decor, rotating artist spotlights, books and games available to borrow. Good drinks and bakery items.

Very nice place, pleasant staff, place is kinda like a old style look with the furniture and layout. Better then start bucks with the decor.

we waited in the drive through with 5 cars ahead of us for 45 mins. what takes so long? when we got to the window after the 2 cars in front of us leaving because of the wait the person with just said "yeah we are backed up" really? their coffee isn't great anyway. I will NEVER go back there. oh and not to mention that once you get in the drive through there is no way out except to wait or back up.
Comfortable non-corporate neighborhood cafe. Friendly staff, good coffee, good summertime outdoor seating. ##UPDATE##: Slight addendum to my original review. Dropped the rating on service from a 4 to a 3, not because of staff but due to internet access. The Tanasbourne location (and I'm assuming all others) have an overly aggressive wifi filtering policy. This reaches beyond blocking access to lewd sites (which would be reasonable) and affects things like political content (specifically on YouTube and spanning both left and right ideologies). Much of it is invisible filtering in the sense that you wouldn't notice unless you compared to results outside the network. Much of this lands in the camp of annoyance, so just plan to tether to your phone or use a VPN if you find you can't access certain content. I've broached the issue both face-to-face as well as electronically and had zero traction, so here we are. Still a great place to work from.

The apple cider muffin was delicious.
Good coffee (Americano), good food (breakfast biscuit, sausage, egg, and cheese) and the service was friendly and prompt. Not cheap, but good quality.

We waited 30 minutes for food we ordered and paid for that was never made. In the middle of finally making our food after bringing it up I asked for a refund on the food that was missing out of courtesy for making us wait due to THEIR mistake. The refund was issued and they proceeded to throw our food away.
