Tip your baristas, especially Zoe
Love getting coffee and breakfast here! The special drinks rotate and are always fun. They have a variety of options for food and drink.
Vegetarian options: Many veggie and vegan options--both freshly prepared and pastry items
Dietary restrictions: Plenty of vegan options. They are willing to change dishes when able to take care of my allergen (using vegan egg instead of traditional egg). Have a good amount of GF pastries. Items are clearly marked
Kid-friendliness: They have coloring books and games for kids (or adults that want to have fun)!

Vibes? Immaculate. Aesthetic?? Cozy AND cute. Their spicy chai is my absolute favorite, and Personally, I've been to very very very many coffee houses (I travel yk) Joyful Java is literally the best with their chai. I highly reccomend it.

Coffee was good but we were there 30 minutes before close and it felt a little like we were being pushed out quickly, even though there was still half an hour left in the day.

Nice place but the drip coffee and hot coco we ordered was very watered down.

The staff at this cafe could use some extra training. We ordered a smoothie, coffee, parfait, and two breakfast sandwiches. It was not too busy and three staff members were working. The smoothie and coffee came first after about 15 minutes. Then a customer who had ordered after us got their breakfast burritos. Then another 15 minutes later another customer got their breakfast sandwiches, which happened to be the same ones as ours. Then 30 minutes later we received our sandwiches. It should take at most 10 minutes to order and pickup up two breakfast sandwiches at a cafe, not an hour. I wouldn’t go here for a quick stop.
The food itself was fine. The breakfast sandwiches came on Dave’s Killer Bread bagels, which are okay for grocery store bread. Grand Central Bakery is up the street and I’ve seen other cafes work deals with that bakery to get bread for their sandwiches.
Oddly, the granola was on the bottom of the parfait. It was mushy.
The smoothie was great! I’d get that again.
The atmosphere was also nice. We played some of the games that they had on a shelf.
I would come back for a coffee or smoothie, but not for the food and not if I’m in a hurry.

The lady who took my order was a little unkind and seemed very bothered when I asked her a couple questions about the menu.
I ordered the basic sandwich and some scrambled eggs for my dog and a Carmel latte and the latte came out shortly after I ordered but it took about 40 minutes for my sandwich to come which is interesting because there was 4 people in there already with their coffee and food so why did it take 35 minutes for the food be delivered? This place is cute but if you don’t want to wait long period of time for your food then maybe not a good place to be.

The staff really makes this a great spot!
I believe the coffee beans are sourced from Longbottom in Hillsboro.
The atmosphere inside is modern and inviting. There are board games for the little ones to play with.
There is a nice outdoor space with some picnic tables as well, and I often see people enjoying coffee with their dogs by their side.
I've seen this change ownership a few times and this is my favorite iteration yet! The nearby neighbors are lucky to have this spot nearby.

Usually amazing service except Sundays. This rude barista (the one in the mushroom shirt) didn’t smile at all or even say hi when we came in and kept giving me and my dog snarky looks even tho dogs are allowed in by owners request! Then she balked at the fact that I didn’t tip, why would I tip with her having an attitude like that?

Coffee is tasty and I paid about what I expected to. The breakfast burrito was amazing but in my opinion a bit pricey. Staff are very friendly and the shop itself was a nice, quiet place to sit down and relax
