I have Koya on my list for a while and finally dined there. It was such a great experience! We were able to sit right away at the sushi bar. The miso soup to start is very refreshing. Toro Party and Nigiri are so fresh. I love the thick cut they do on the sashimi. I Would definitely recommend and come back.
I have been to quite a few Japanese restaurants in the area and after my visit to Koya, my top three rankings have changed. I like the authenticity and the simplicity of this eatery. As you walk in, you get a sense of a true Japanese sushi restaurant. It's also not only about the ambiance alone; the food is also great. The menu is well organized and innovative. I recently threw a milestone birthday party for my husband, and ordered platters from Koya Sushi, and I'm so glad that I did! Our guests absolutely loved the quality and freshness of all of their sushi, which included sashimi, nigiri and specialty rolls. We were also pleased with the surprise that they also included miso soup with our order. It was a lovely display of food, prepared by the most friendly people!
