“Karam catered our wedding and was a definite crowd-pleaser. We ordered lamb and chicken shawarma, chicken kebab, falafel, tabouleh, dolmas, and majadra, along with hummus and baba ghannouj. Everything was delicious, just as it is whenever we dine or get takeout from Karam. Our only regret is that we didn't order baklava, too!“

“Seriously the kindest staff ever. The gentleman at the front was so friendly and warm to my sister and I. At the end of our meal, he even gave my nephews cookies. This was my first time at Sultan Cafe, but it definitely will not be my last. This simple cafe had the best service I’ve experienced at any restaurant in Portland, (and I go to expensive restaurants all the time) and all it took was a warm smile and a family feel from start to finish.“

I ordered delivery and got a deluxe wrap with grilled chicken and the curly garlic fries and liked the food so much that I got a little obsessed and ordered again the very next night 🫣 Just really wanted to try the lamb after how good the chicken wrap was, and the lamb was even better! Extremely moist and tender while still having great char, and overall really flavorful. These guys obviously care about making good food and it shows. Thank you for a couple delicious meals! “Our family absolutely loves gyros but nobody likes theirs exactly the same. My kid doesn’t like any sauces for example. It is really nice to see a fine dining establishment that actually caters to that need!
I love gyros! Every time I see a place that sells them, I go in to test things out. The gyros here are far superior to any I have had to date!
This is truly Mediterranean comfort food at its finest!
