We have eaten here many times! The food is always amazing, but we were also here to celebrate a bday. After a recognition when we sat down, there was no feeling about the special day even though we ordered dessert. Disappointing.

Noise level approached unbearable. I had asked for a quiet table. As this was my first experience with Mingo West I don't know if there is quiet table.

Our table wasn't assigned a waiter until another server recognized the problem. When our food arrived it was cold and one of our dishes was wrong and they were slow to fix it. The restaurant wasn't crowded and the server who stepped up to help us out did his level-best to salvage the evening but this was not the experience we had last year when we first found the restaurant.

Walked in without a reservation and hostess was kind and understanding, we were seated quickly and server was knowledgeable, patient and kind as well. Food was delicioud, all in all wonderful first experience for an impromptu date night and will be going back.
Stopped in for a cocktail only, but the food looked and smelled delicious. Very friendly staff and craft cocktails were beautiful and delicious. We will definitely be back for dinner.

I have always enjoyed my dining experiences at Mingo. The food is always good, service is always outstanding, and the ambiance on the patio can't be beat. The Max trains passing by might be thought to be negative but in fact, it adds a cosmopolitan feel to an otherwise suburban setting. Mingo has been a favorite for many years.
