My favorite Korean restaurant in the Portland area (which includes Beaverton). If you don’t want to write your name down and wait, make sure to get there right at open. It’s popular for a reason - the food is amazing, portions are great, super authentic, delicious and generous banchan. Trademark Korean music videos in the background for vibes. The people who work here are efficient and can hustle - good at service and get your order and generally get you out if you’re ready in a timely manner. We travel about 40 mins from the outskirts of Portland to get here and never regret it. I love this place. Only bummer is the wait if you’re not right on time and that you can’t get take out that I’m aware of - they are too busy for it.

One of my favorite Korean restaurants of all time. Even after traveling to South Korea twice, I dare say Nakwon still ranks in my top three Korean restaurants. Having eaten here for almost two decades, the flavors at Nakwon have left such a lasting imprint on my palate that they’ve become the standard by which I measure all other kimchi and stews.
The food is consistently excellent and never fails to amaze. Every time I take a bite of the stews or soups, it feels as though a world of happiness opens up and completely delights my palate. Even after nearly 20 years, that experience never gets old as every bite still feels like the very first to me. I highly recommend the seafood pancake, spicy tofu soup, and spicy beef rib stew.

I adore Nak Won! The food is always top-notch - the kimchi stew, the bulgogi, and the kalbi are my faves. Wash it all down with a Terra beer and that's one decadent evening. ^^) The owners are super, to boot!

Easily one of the very best Korean restaurants in the greater Portland area. Superb, generous, tasty banchan. Fabulous Korean pancakes-always order the kimchj and green onion cakes! Scrumtuous! Great classic Korean dishes, super-tasty marinated beef salade. Whole menu is worth careful investigation. So go already!
