I visited this restaurant with high expectations due to its excellent Google reviews. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. The food portions were very small, the flavors underwhelming, and the pricing did not reflect the quality or quantity served. I did not try any drinks, tea, or desserts, so I cannot comment on those. However, if you’re planning to visit primarily for the food, I would suggest considering other options. Based on our visit, it did not feel worth the value.
Great hidden gem, like stepping in to another place and time
Small, intimate setting with great ambiance. Incredible selection of teas. Interesting, delicious food and super unique and delicious cocktails. If you like Top Burmese, this is run by the same people, and is every bit as unique and delicious.
Place wasn’t bad, customer service was good 👍🏻
We went for the first time tonight, and it won't be our last. The atmosphere, food, and service were top-notch. Amazing! Unique dishes. Spices and flavors you wouldn't expect.
This charming little restaurant offers a unique dining experience. The intimate setting creates a cozy atmosphere. Seating is limited, so reserving a table is highly recommended. The menu features innovative dishes and beverages. Prepare to be intrigued by the culinary creations. The thoughtfully crafted menu promises a delightful exploration of flavors. This hidden gem is well worth discovering.
YOU HAVE TO GO THERE!!! The food, drinks and service are amazing. Two of us sat outside with our dog and had the best time. There is just an energy about this location.
I expected nothing but excellence from a restaurant by the Top Burmese group, and Old Asia Teahouse delivered. The space is small, intimate and charming, the food and drinks were superb, and the service was fantastic. The presentation was beautiful; I wish I'd taken photos to share. Our server Keegan was super friendly, professional, and attentive. It's a great spot for a romantic dinner, lunch with friends, or tea and conversation on a rainy day. I live on the far opposite side of the Portland metro area but plan to visit often.
This was a really fun spot. It was a bit pricey but I loved the food and the tea and the vibe. Would def come back again!
Great Asian food, excellent tea, very good service. Wide selection of small plates; four mains. Good beverage options including alcohol. Very small restaurant; expect to wait for a table.

Five stars across the board here, folks. The atmosphere is quiet and low light. Great for a special night or date night. Reservations are highly recommended due to the smaller dining area. The service was as amazing as the atmosphere. The servers are attentive and knowledgeable. Drinks were very good and well executed. Food was some of the best flavors I've ever tasted. This place is on point. The garlic asparagus was the star of the show.
Absolutely FANTASTIC tea! Cakes were good too.
Came for the tea, stayed for the great service. Had good recommendations from my server Maddie! Will be back
Warm cozy vibe, friendly service and great tea options. Highly recommend the lotus tea paired with delish almond cake!
We’ve been wanting to try this spot for a while. The ornately decorated little space and menu was exciting to look at, and I liked the big variety of teas to pick from. Our favorite thing from the menu was the tea leaf salad—so much flavor and texture! The donburri was pretty boring as there was not much to it and no flavor or sauce. The fried tofu was different than expected but still good. I’d definitely suggest coming for a bunch of small plates, though it feels expensive for what you get (tea and food).
