This was a very nice surprise. Elegant decor and intimate environment. Very large selection of tea, sold by the cup or pot. Nice interesting selection of cocktails. Our server, a lovely young blond woman was so very helpful and kind, offered great suggestions when we placed our order. We ordered several small dishes to share rather than ordering entrees and the food came out at just the right time and was really very excellent and unique flavors. I would like to come back and do the tea pairing some day. Lots of options for different dietary restrictions. I would suggest making reservations, while we did walk in we were able to snag the last at least but there was still bar seating available. We came about 3pm on a Saturday. Parking is non-existent so plan to scout out a spot nearby in the public parking lot.

Dietary restrictions: Lots of options for vegan, vegetarian and GF.

Parking: There is a parking lot across the street.

This might be the most interesting restaurant I've been to in Beaverton, and definitely still one of the coolest in the Portland metro area. The place is small and cozy, somewhat hidden from plain sight as the signage is not flashy or large. It's even more comfortable inside, with modern Asian-themed decor in a clean, small setting and purple lighting. There isn't much seating, so it would be wise to get a reservation ahead of time. Service is very kind and they are pretty fast from my experience, they check on you often but not at annoying times, making your experience at the teahouse as wonderful as possible. They have the same ownership as the trendy Top Burmese restaurants, and you can tell that the management knows what they're doing in creating popular and exciting places to which people would want to return.

As indicated by the name, Old Asia specializes in a selection of East, Southeast, and South Asian teas, from black to oolong to green, with a variety of flavor profiles and caffeine levels. You also get to customize what you order, such as having the ability to add milk or oat milk to your tea. Their hojicha is delicious. However, the food they have is also fantastic. They only offer four entrees, but they're creative and diverse, with a lot of thought put into them. The beef tastes fantastic, fully cooked without being dry, and with an amazing garlic fried rice to complement it. They also have an extensive Asian-themed dessert menu, in which I would suggest the Sooji Cake, with a mochilike texture and yummy sweet-but-not-too-sweet taste.

Parking: There's a very tiny parking lot adjacent to the restaurant but you'd likely have to park on the street, which does have options when the area isn't too busy.

We came as a family of 5 with no reservations and were seated quickly. Our waitress did warn us there was a reservation on our table for later in the evening but we were out in plenty of time
I do recommend reservations though because the space is small and seating is very limited.
The ambiance is really nice, definitely give the tea house vibes the name promises.
Theu have a small menu so we ordered most of it and loved everything.
For small plates the Chicken Karage, Garlic Asparagus, and Salmon Poke Tower were our faves.
We got all 4 entrees and everyone had a different favorite but all agreed that the Garlic Rice in the Fried Beef W/Garlic Rice stole the show.
They have a fantastic tea selection and had pop for our non-tea drinking teens.
Highly recommend Old Asia Tea House, we will be back soon.

Dietary restrictions: Accommodated our gluten and dairy allergy and were very thoughtful.
I don't think they'd be safe for nut allergies.

The main issue during my visit was the long wait time. For a small restaurant with a few tables, such long wait times make no sense especially when it was not busy either. The service staff was very helpful and kindly gave us a discount without us complaining and asking for it. I was impressed by the staff's incentive on this. Great customer care! Another issue was delivery of forks with each dish was consistently missed. The third negative for me was the rice in entrees was undercooked and a bit crunchy :( Also their popular Chicken Karage was out. Besides these shortfalls, I must admit the beef skewers and the beef entrees were really tasty. Fantastic dishes to try! The chicken meatballs were a bit bland but well cooked. The hot sauce it came with made sense BUT there was no indication of how hot that sauce is! I can take a good level of heat but that sauce almost made my ears bleed! Oh boy! Customers would appreciate a heads up on that for sure ;) Lychee and mango beers were interesting to try. If you do not have a sweet tooth, you may want to skip those though. Prices are a bit high given the small portion sizes. For a $30 per head check, I would expect to fill fuller prior to exit. I think this place offers original dishes I haven't seen in the area. However, the kitchen needs to be more organized and swift to do justice to the wonderful staff and the original dishes.

Parking: Easy to park.

Cute teahouse with an impressive tea collection! The food menu is rather limited as is the seating inside, but we had a great time. The beef masala skewer small plate was delicious, and the Lucky Jade and Yuzu Cloud cocktails were both excellent.
There was only one person scheduled on the front-end so service was rather slow, but that was a staffing issue and not any fault of the employee, who was lovely

Great place for great food and customer service.

Items of note were the poke appetizer which was amazing and the dessert was sweet paratha. Also amazing.

Their chili oil flakes also had good flavor and heat, not bland like a regular chinese restaurant.

This is a quaint little restaurant in Beaverton. We discovered it through doing a quick research on what was available on that Sunday afternoon. The food was really good and the atmosphere was quiet and a little bit of elegance in it. We really enjoyed our drinks, and the waitress was quite pleasant.

Love the ambiance. The food menu has very limited selection. We tried the nasi lemak, a southeast Asian dish, and it was disappointing. Beside the fried anchovy, peanut, and cucumber, the chicken was bland instead of savory. Could improve the dish using fried eggs instead of quail eggs. The lentil soup was too salty and tasted heavy bouilion. The roti was not flaky and too buttered. Unlikely to return.

Wonderful experience. I don't usually linger too long in a restaurant, but this place was charming! Food was fantastic and incredibly good service. Can't wait to go back. I also bought the cutest tea mug! Such a perfect vibe for dinner with my friend.

A lovely experience. My first time. I chose a chai tea which was fabulous. Tried the salmon poke which was so good I would order it again. Service was great, but I didn't get her name. I ordered two desserts...mango ice cream and a sweet one with whipped cream but I can't recall the name. I look forward to coming back soon.
