Old Chicago Pizza + Taproom

We didn’t even get to eat here. We stood waiting for someone to seat us or tell us it’s open seating for more than 10 minutes and then just walked out not even seated yet and it was pretty much empty, maybe like two tables. Won’t even go back to try food

We went for a late night dinner (had just came back from the coast) food was okay. Our waitress was really nice but we did have to kind of chase after her as far as drinks and ordering food.

Used to be a favorite when we lived closer, this was the first visit in a couple years.
The crust on the pizza was not as tasty as i recalled, and the Alfredo sauce side (dip your marinara sauce pizza in, it's a great combo) was much more watery than previous.
The atmosphere was exactly the same, which is nostalgic, but could use updating. The AC was broken that day so it was 81° inside, which didn't help.
What did help was the waitress. I forget her name but her daughter was working in the next section, and she recently started with OC. Incredibly friendly, straight talk about the heat, made us feel very welcome to be there.

Great food and service

Great 🍕 and 🍺. I also liked the layout. They play sports on big 📺.

Always good at Old Chicago. Hard to find them anymore. Staff was friendly and food was hot and good.

My favorite restaurant! The two locations near me I used to frequent closed 6 or 7 years ago. Then I moved away. I found myself in a part of town that still has one left, and I was excited! My calzone was just as amazing as I had remembered! I just might take the hour long drive and go back!

It was new years eve, we came in to order a pizza and they were out of pan crust pizza dough. We drove a 30 mile distance to get there and it was 9 pm, due to the holiday every were else was closing, needless to say we were not able to eat dinner and celebrate the new year, I understand running out of food, however, running out of pizza dough at a pizza restaurant is absolutely ridiculous. Now I know why Old Chicago has closed down locations, poor management. We will never return.

There have nice cocktails, after 10 pm they charge $5 for all drinks.

The pizza rolls I ordered to go were burnt and had hardly any filling (cheese, pepperoni) I would have sent them back and I don’t think they would have tried to serve them in the restaurant.
