Great (mostly) authentic Japanese bakery goods. Does cater somewhat to American/ethnic tastes for some products without impacting the authentic items and everything tastes great. Their anpan and melonpan are perfect representations of tradition, while the edamame curry donuts are great twists for vegans.
Best bakery ever! There's so many amazing savery and sweet pastries with things like Japanese curry filling or red bean paste, as well as others with jalapeno and cheese, chocolate coronets, pumpkin with cream cheese, and so many amazing options for so cheap!
The baked goods and decor are like Japan. The atmosphere surprised me as there was loud, country music and people at the counter that don’t fit the Japanese aesthetic, so a little disappointed since I was hoping to experience the famed Japanese style with the friendly service.
