It's good! I really liked the flavor and toppings. Not too salty (my meat eating coworker said his choice was). The undressed cold slabs of tofu is the only thing keeping it from 5 stars.
Been here a few times to eat in and takeout. The price of food is reasonable and they provide chopsticks for takeout. Only downside is that this ramen food cart does not have bamboo shoots either as an extra side dish or included in the ramen- had to settle for more corn instead.
Parking: After 9pm parking is free.

One vegan ramen with a slightly thick blended vegetable broth. This is the soup I want the next time I have a cold. I love a creamy ramen! Good with added spice. Tastes almost buttery and the ginger adds a nice pop. Was a chilly evening, but nice sitting by the fire. I hope they do a vegan TanTanmen someday, because they would knock it out of the park! Not to be “that person,” but I just returned from Japan 3 days ago and tried as many veggie ramens as possible while there (I think I counted 25 different restaurants). Ramen Ippo helped cushion the blow of being back in the US with their friendliness and delicious ramen.

Really good ramen, and nice people serving it. I've been here a few times and tried a different type each time and was always happy.
Tan tan ramen was perfect for warming up in 34°F weather. There was some covered seating nearby.

Only one option and they serve octopus bodies. Ramen was not fully cooked.

The TanTan ramen is the best ramen I’ve ever had! Best place in portland and I’ve been to a TON of ramen places! Highly reccomend!

Randomly decided to come here and try the chicken kara-age and takoyaki and both were insanely good and well priced. Definitely recommend!!
This ramen cart serves authentic and simple chicken broth ramen. It’s light but very delicious. Probably won’t find anything much better in the USA.
Always so yummy!
Super nice guy. Enjoyed my meal - taste, temperature and heat level. Give it a go.
Pretty disappointing. Not much bite in the noodles or flavor in the broth. Egg was cooked well and “chasu” was so so but unmemorable
