This is by far my favorite Japanese restaurant. I have been going here for Something like 20 years and I’ve never been disappointed. Everything on the menu is fantastic, this place is truly one of the greats when it comes to food on the Portland/Beaverton area.

Excellent food and service! My family has been going to Sambi for over 20 years, and it has been a favorite the entire time. The portions are large, the fish is fresh, and the staff are kind. Great local family-owned spot.

The quality of the fish was out of this world! Thank you for a beyond excellent meal — we will be back!

Definitely a hole in the wall that will leave your stomach delighted beyond your preconceived expectations. The service was excellent and people getting up to leave were thanking the chef for his hard work. And it’s obvious why. The speciality rolls are larger than life. And I was very satisfied with my experience.

The freshest sushi 🍣 I have found in Portland so far. The server was very attentive an welcoming and informative. Absolutely get your money's worth.

Have dined at Sambi restaurant several times - a favorite of my son in law who gives good advice on what to order. Service is good, menu is robust. Most recently we were able to dine as walk-ins at a table for six after only a twenty minute wait.

I love this place! me and my sister come here sometimes to eat, it's a very cozy little restaurant with very nice employees. The food is also excellent and the sushi is freshly made.

Short staffed but they really put out the effort for an enjoyable time. Very courteous and friendly. Bento boxes are the best!!!
