The most flavorless food I've ordered in a long time. It also reminded me of a valuable lesson that you should never leave a tip for a counter order. I way overpaid for the quality of food I received.
I asked for condiments and got a strange look (and explanation that I didn't need them) before being handed two tiny soy sauce packets. Who fries calamari (poorly, mind you) and then doesn't give you a dipping sauc?

This place is filled with warmth, just like a home-cooked meal from a loving grandmother. The food is delicious, and the people are incredibly kind.
After my meal, my car wouldn’t start — but the chef, a sweet grandmother, and her friend went out of their way to help me. They kindly offered to assist even though I had to pick up my kids from camp, and they stayed with me until the very end.
This is more than just a restaurant — it’s a place full of kindness, heart, and community. A place where food is truly made with love.

The shop is small but the food is amazing! Best tteokbokki I've had hands down and their bugolgi is to die for! (pics are of the half eaten dishes, they looked prettier before we dug in lol) The staff is also very friendly and helpful. 10/10
