Very old vibe place with a few notes of a casino from Nevada. Gamblers are..meh less than desired but everything else was perfect. Server was excellent and food was pretty damn good. I give you my blessing of "Nice Work" because I can see the labor put into running these types of places

Dirty silverware when we got seated and rude hostess/server when I mentioned it to get clean silverware. Hostess was also the only server. Service has declined dramatically lately. Either staff restaurant properly or you'll lose all your customers.

The chef has been at this location 20 yrs and his food is spot on incredible! The service was amazing as well as they made all the alterations I requested and were very kind ! Fire food ! Definitely recommend stopping by this location!

Rashell was amazing! We prefer coming to this Shari’s even though it’s further from us and there is a closer one down the street. Why? This one feels cozier and we really like that it hasn’t been updated for awhile. It still holds character and history. Back in the day vibes- we like that. The staff, friendly and thoughtful. Food is always on point. Even when they are short staffed, they get things done. Thanks Rashell! I’ll give her 10 stars if I could. She deserves a raise!

Horrible.Service: Criminally understaffed. I don't know if it's hiring issues, call outs, or corporate greed, but nobody can provide good service while covering 20+ tables...Food: Ridiculously small portions, undercooked and over-salted. My hashbrowns were so undercooked they were still starchy and crunchy. Might be due to staffing in the back, but food should never leave a kitchen in the condition I received.Atmosphere: The restaurant is filthy. There's no other way to say it. Tables, silverware, floor - they're all sticky and unclean. This place is due for an inspection.

It was my favorite restaurant to visit with my family for 10 years. The last 3 times that I visited the place, we noted that the waiters are annoyed to attend us. I was thinking that maybe they were tired, but finally, I understand that they are racist. Today, I paid, I went to the restroom with my kids, we got the boxes with remaining food and when we were leaving the restaurant a different waiter who wasn't attending us ran to us behind to the bar and she yelled me in front of the customers if I had paid? I could understand that the spirit of the waiters staff is racist. Before I saw some Latin families there, but now apparently only we were visiting the place, I could understand the reason. If you're latin don't take your food inside, they are uncomfortable attending our community.

There was a time when Sheri's employees were kind and customer friendly. I politely asked the waitress if she had anything vegetarian. She said 'Omlettes'. I said I dont eat eggs and asked if there is anything else and she flatly said 'NO' and walked away!!! So they don't have fries? vegetarian or vegan salads? grilled cheese sandwich? nothing? For a restaurant thats existed for decades, it is unfortunate that they dont offer anything vegan or vegetarian, that too in PDx area.
The service was very good, but for a $22 breakfast (1 plate and drink) I expect more. I was there first thing in the morning and the floor of the first booth had something dry and sticky. The rest of the interior is way past due for renovation.

It's a clean modern take on the quintessential American diner. The wait-staff was friendly, informative, and attentive. The food was excellent. The coffee was standard-diner but I had no trouble finishing my 2nd cup. We didn't even get to the desserts. Next time I'm ordering pie and coffee first!
