When I visit Portland, I make a point of dining at the so‑called must‑try restaurants, but most of them end up being disappointing. However, this place—located on the second floor of a Korean market—is very simple yet surprisingly delicious. Whenever I go to G Mart to pick up sale items, I usually stop here for a meal.
The food here is much better than at Jeju, Hanok, or other Korean restaurants. Another advantage is that after finishing your meal, you can conveniently do your grocery shopping right downstairs. The prices are reasonable, and most of the menu items taste excellent. This is definitely a place I recommend.

If you’re not ready to pay a 15% tip for takeout, don’t bother coming here!
I tipped $1 on a pickup order and they made me wait almost an hour while people who ordered after me got their food first. I ordered at 5:30pm and didn’t get my food until 6:25pm. No clear explanation.
They punish you if you don’t tip big on takeout. Never coming back.
Great buffet and selections. Service is lacking ..

We can’t wait to go back and try more. I almost didn’t even want to write this review because I want this place to remain a hidden gem but it’s too good not to spread the word.
Hidden upstairs in a Korean grocery store, the food was authentic and the atmosphere too. We arrived at 8:10pm on a Friday and the lady made an exception for us as the kitchen closed at 8, although the restaurant stays open till 9. We recommend coming before then.
We tried the bulgogi, the chicken bulgogi, and a kimchi pancake without the pork. Before the food came out, they brought us banchan which we devoured. It was a collection of kimchi, fish cakes, potatoes in sweet soy sauce, pickles radishes, pickles, and broccoli. The kimchi was so good that we asked for more. We couldn’t stop eating everything when it arrived—definitely come here super hungry.
The chicken had a very smokey flavor to it, just a bit of a heads up. I wasn’t expecting that and although it was delicious, it’s not a taste I’m very used to.
We can’t wait to come back and try more. Plus the grocery store had some fascinating items that we want to check out, too.
Also, the sweetest older women were waiting on our tables and ran the house. They were very kind and diligent.

This is a homey, old-school Korean restaurant inside a Korean grocery store. The restaurant is hard to miss, as it is a hole-in-the-wall located at the back of the store, up a flight of creaky wooden stairs. The side dishes are good. We had the bulgogi and japchae, which I would recommend. This is one of the best bang-for-buck Korean restaurants in Beaverton. We've been 3x and will come back.

I will fight anyone that says Always Spring isn’t good. Which is crazy because I’ve never been in a fight before. But it’s so good, I’d be willing to fight the person that claims this isn’t a top eat in the greater Portland area.

A cute quaint and cozy Korean restaurant, a small hole in the wall restaurant above a Korean super market. They serve a variety of authentic Korean foods, with great service and great quality food for a pretty good price. The service is good, along with a menu in the wall with pictures.

Me and My Big Homie Big Z went here yesterday for lunch. I use to come here when I worked next door at Subaru. We had the Chicken Bugogi and the halibut collar both where very great will be back very soon
Amazing bulgogi and side dishes!
We tried a few things but the stand out was definitely the bulgogi for us. Small place and love that it's inside of Gmart so we were able to pickup a few staples once we were done.
Food is not very good and over priced. It was packed with non-Koreans which was quite surprising. The Koreans must have all been dining at Coredam-food is better plus more authentic banchans.
Located in the mezzanine floor of a Korean grocery store, this restaurant’s food is excellent with generous servings. Service staff though needs to improve their sometimes surly attitude. Their kitchen also can’t handle a full house of diners.
