The Stockpot Restaurant

We’ve been meeting family members at Stockpot for Sunday morning brunch for several years. Never needed a reservation. Today when we arrived we were asked if we had a reservation and when we said no we were turned away. Host said they were too busy for our party of 5. Didn’t offer a wait time either. Wow!

Absolutely outstanding experience. They helped our anniversary dinner be a night to remember. The staff were so friendly and welcoming and food was delicious.

The staff and atmosphere is awesome! It seems like the quality or preparation of the steaks (Filet & Prime Rib) have dipped the last 2 times we visited.

Very disappointed in owner/host We had a special spot reserved and he frankly pretended there was no issue.

The restaurant is part of a busy Happy Hour cocktail lounge but the ambience was great with a reasonable noise level and views of the Redtail golf course. The food was delicious and the service was very well paced. We were celebrating a birthday and for that we got a personal birthday card, an glass of champagne and an ice cream sundae-very impressive.

Main courses were good, but don't order lobster bisque-it has nothing to do with lobster, very disappointing...desserts are quite disappointing too. Service could be a little more friendly too.

Friends took my husband & I out to dinner. Everyone except me ordered prime rib. I enjoyed it in the past. So I was so surprised all 3 folks prime rib were heavy with grizzle. What a surprise!

Vegetables were fixed perfectly, they had a little crunch like perfectly heated. Everyone else weren't given many beans. It should have been like mine.

Our waitress & bartender were wonderful.

I feel terrible, my friends didn't complain. That's So much $$$ wasted. I'm sure they would have complained if alone. I'm thinking the restaurant doesn't keep the food standards high anymore.

Is it in trouble? Is it under new management?? Doubt they will respond to this review. Sad.

The Stockpot is quality, and has been a family favorite for decades. Its locale is the only good dining experience in miles of surrounding neighborhoods, making meeting friends there an easy choice! It's reliably good, well priced, very nice staff and servers, and there is outdoor seating available with views of the golf course.

Had a lovely anniversary dinner here. The service was so good, our server Debby was so sweet and helpful! Great food and relaxing environment.

Good service, decent food, good but nothing to rave about. Not sure that we would go back. We all had steaks, heavily salted.
