Went for dinner, family of 3 (4 year old daughter)
Servers didn’t speak / understand English very well, sat us at a table and didn’t say anything, just walked away. We got a few plates of the 3.25$ sushi that just looked like fake filler crab meat, the rice was hard around the outside of the rolls, like they had been sitting for quite some time. We had two large beers too, bill was 75$ at the end and totally not worth it. We all got stomach aches after

Closed on TUESDAYS! This is our favorite sushi restaurant we were returning to… waited in rush hour traffic. Google said they were open… to get there and find lights out and hours different on door sign. We will be back but PLEASE UPDATE YOUR HOURS/ DAYS OPEN!

We were somewhere in the depths of strip mall hell when the hunger began to take hold. Sushi Hana lurked there like a trap, its conveyor belt circling endlessly with plates of questionable cargo.
I should have known better. The first warning sign was the atmosphere, that particular fluorescent despair unique to establishments sandwiched between failing retail spaces. But hunger makes fools of us all.
The yellowtail arrived first. One bite and I knew something was fundamentally, cosmically wrong. The fish was warm. Not room temperature, actually warm, as if it had been sitting under a heat lamp in some cruel culinary experiment. Raw fish should be cold, goddamnit. This is not negotiable. This is not open to interpretation.
But the real nightmare came with the tempura. The shrimp that should have been crackling hot, fresh from the fryer, was stone cold. Not lukewarm. Not cooling. Ice cold, as if they'd prepared it yesterday and refrigerated it out of pure malice.
I'd stumbled into some kind of thermodynamic horror show, a bizarro world where every law of food preparation had been deliberately inverted. Hot was cold. Cold was hot. Up was down.
There was nothing to do but flee back into the parking lot, another broken soul who'd learned too late that some strip malls contain doors that should never be opened.

I got a large order of nigiri, almost every single one has a overly slimey feel on the fish with the rice portion falling apart almost immediately. I thought i was going crazy or maybe just my taste was off today until i found one that tastes decent. Overall i use to be a regular here until about 2 years ago they served me a straight up still frozen nigiri and i just stopped by for a craving this time but absolutely never going back now

The food was respectable but not five stars. People were courteous and deserve 5 stars for their servitude, and overall the atmosphere was nice and chill with some great 80s tunes during my visit. Not too crowded, not too loud (except my presence, of course). So overall not a bad place to eat just not one of my top 6 sushi places
