Taste of Sichuan provided excellent Chinese dishes, before they were unfortunately put out of service by a fire in the kitchen. Almost two years later, they are back! Can't wait to try their food again!

This is my favorite restaurant!!! I have come here with lots of my Chinese friends and they all say it tastes like home. Best flavors, absolutely delicious. I love having a big group and eating family style around the big circular tables. Gives you the chance to try lots and lots of dishes.

I miss this place! We used to drive all the way from Southeast Portland to pick up tons of food... I still have not found anywhere that comes close. I hope they reopen!

Miss this place 😔 famously AWFUL service 🤣🤣😠but the food was the best Chinese around without driving all the way out to 82nd.
Newly revamped Hometown Taste a few miles away is *almost* as good with a much smaller menu though, but much better service also. Good alternative to check out!
If Taste of Sichuan ever returns, I will be so happy 😊🥺

Awful treatment, like I am different. I spent 56.95. Never returning. I AM African American and White I will never return they treated me poorly!!!!! Every other Chinese and Oriental restaurant i go out to treated me nicely. I tip 25 when I am treated with equality!!!!!!

It's not looking good they have been out of business now for July 2023 it's late Sep 2024 for sale sign in window in building & chain link fence around the whole building & is being gutted, don't think it's every coming back, it's to bad it was one of the best places here.
