My husband and I ate here on a trip to Portland. The chicken kabob was the best we've ever had (Iran included)!

Tehroon features a delicious, well-balanced and elegant flavor palate. The kebobs are succulent, the yoghurts a perfect acidic foil to their savoriness. We even enjoy their complementary feta, mint/basil, raw onion and flatbread number.
The service - while friendly - is largely absent and negligent. It does not help that front-of-house is a mixed bag of English-speaking skills; it can be difficult to flag down the right person for assistance. Last time we were here, we were not given water until after the entrees were served. The water was requested at the very beginning (after having already waited 5-10min to take any orders). Our ghormeh sabzi was served not just tepid, but cold -- as if having sat on the plate for the entire half-hour wait it took to receive our courses. This was on an early Saturday evening with a middle volume of patrons. Service was not much more expedient when we were previously the only guests in the room.
Payment is a needless headache, as the front-of-house may inexplicably disappear into the back-of-house for extended lengths. We could not get our limited-English server to take our payment tender early to depart in a timely manner.
It may be advisable not to patronize this restaurant if in a time crunch, as their business conduct does not appear to respect their customers' time. This is a truly unfortunate disadvantage they bring upon themselves, as they might amplify their loyal patronage with even the bare minimum of what could be considered satisfactory service.

I like all of thier services and also good and healthy foods ,best Resturant.
This is the best persian restaurant in Oregon, imo. Absolutely delicious entrees, respectful service, and comfortable atmosphere. If you need “first time” recommendations from their menu, here’s what I loved:
Appetizers: Kashke Bademjaan/Zeytoon Parvardeh
Kabobs Menu: Koobideh/Soltani/Tah-dig
Desserts: Baklava

We’ve been ordering takeout from Tehroon via Uber for a while now, but unfortunately, the quality has really gone downhill. The koobideh portions have been shrinking over time, and in our latest order, the Ghormeh Sabzi only had one small piece of meat. To top it off, the rice quality was disappointing. Their food used to be good, but something has clearly changed, and it’s not for the better.

My wife and I love coming here when we want something special. MJ and staff has always made us feel welcomed. The consistency of fresh food and friendly service is always appreciated. Thank you!

Stopped by to try their lamb shank, and while I appreciate the effort of what seems like a family-owned business, the dish itself was pretty plain. The lamb could definitely use a stronger recipe, maybe a garlic sauce on the side and a salad to complement it. Overall, I wasn't fully satisfied with the meal, but I can tell they're doing their best and hope they work on improving the lamb shank. Giving 3 stars for the potential and the friendly atmosphere!
