I visited during lunch with my Pre-K child, who had already eaten and wasn’t very hungry.
So we ordered just one dish, and I gave my child a small portion on a separate plate in case they wanted a bite.

From the moment we ordered at the table, the staff didn’t seem welcoming. their expression made me uncomfortable.
I didn’t even feel at ease asking for basic utensils, and none were offered.
We quietly helped ourselves to plastic forks and spoons from the self serve takeout station.

When it was time to pay at the counter, I left an 18% tip and politely said thank you.
The staff didn’t respond at all.
I even saw them thank the customer ahead of me, which made the silence feel intentional.

It was a disappointing experience, especially during what should’ve been a simple lunch outing.

Please never order the appetizer popcorn chicken, it tastes like pork, we tried 3pieces, and don’t want to get that again, so oily and disgusting! The service is so terrible, they don’t care what the customer said, nobody comes to ask how the food tasting. Won’t be back again!!

Server's playlist was good and he gave us a free large iced tea! 🙂‍↕️ The food was amazing and service was very fast on a Sunday for lunch. Love the stamp card, I wish the East Portland location would do that too!

I’ve ordered from here many times and usually had a good experience, but what happened last Saturday was really disappointing. I placed a pickup order through Uber Eats, but when I arrived, a staff member told me my order never showed up on their system, so they didn’t make my food. He even used my phone to help cancel it on the app.

I left without any food, assuming I’d get a refund, but I was still charged. Uber Eats refused to refund me because it showed the order was accepted on the restaurant’s end.

It’s frustrating to pay for something I never received, especially from a place I’ve supported regularly. At the very least, I expected some accountability or a refund.

Delicious food at great prices and portions. The original pork broth was flavorful and soothing, like a less heavy tonkotsu broth. The soup was refreshing and delicious. The century egg, fried milk, and milk tea were also very good. The bubble waffle was just okay, not a lot of filling.

Food is ok but the service is horrible, they took the wrong order and even gave our food to the other table and they didn’t apologize they just grabbed them from the other table and lay them on our table. Horrible experience ruined the whole night. And honestly that particular waitress doesn’t even respect people. Such a shame. And also there are multiple translations are wrong on their menu!!!!be careful you might get the wrong food!!!!

Wow—this place exceeded our expectations! The soup was absolutely delicious, packed with flavorful ingredients, including a perfectly cooked chicken drumstick that was tender and rich in taste. The mushroom soup was incredibly flavorful, and the beef shank we ordered was just as delicious, bursting with deep, savory goodness. The prices are fantastic, making it an even better deal. Honestly, it’s so much better than Japanese ramen! If you’re craving a hearty healthy bowl of soup noodles, this is the place to be!
