I had very high expectations, considering the reviews. Sadly, I left disappointed. Some of the flavors were good, and the quality of ingredients was certainly high. However, the portions were egregiously small. If I am paying $36 for 2 pieces of nigiri, I should not be getting little pieces of fish barely big enough to cover a tiny thimble of rice. In addition, the seasoning in the rice is so strong that it overpowers the taste of the fish. Also, do not order the Insanity Roll that they feature. It might sound good, but the taste is vague and muddled, I can't even describe it. My gf and I couldn't even taste the fish in our handrolls, just the rice, avocado, and nori. It's just so unfortunate, because we came excited and ready to spend for some amazing sushi, but we left hungry and let down. Servers were attentive and friendly, they were the lone bright spot.

When you come in and sit, your table is already prepped with everything you could need, including edamame to munch on while you order. Ordering is via QR code and you can order individually or as a group (or multiple groups if convenient). There’s a solid variety of options, but the dry-aged tuna seems to be the thing to try!—specifically the dry aged Japanese bluefin, although they have Mexican as well (I’m not well-versed in the difference between bluefin varieties).
I ordered: Tuna Flight (3 pcs of bluefin of increasingly nice cut), Salmon Belly, Garlic Albacore, and Hon Maguro (bluefin tuna). The best by far was the “Grandma Toro” in the Tuna flight (can also be ordered separate). It was the best to the point where every member of my party ended up ordering it!

Recommend making a reservation here in advance!

This is hands down our favorite sushi place near Portland. It’s in Beaverton, but it’s always worth the drive!

Every time we come here, we order so much that I am pretty sure they remember us as the couple who always orders a lot!

The fish is high quality and tastes so good!! They use real wasabi too!! I get the Ankimo every time and my partner always gets the omakase. I like trying their uni and wagyu dishes too. I also like that they are always switching things up and adding new things to the menu from time to time, it gives us new things to try every time we come in! Literally can’t go wrong with anything, it all tastes so good! You can sense that they have real dedication to the craft!

We also love that the amaebi comes with fried shrimp heads and wasabi salt too! The wasabi salt goes really good with them.

The inside dining area is fairly small, so it can fill up and get crowded or loud and rowdy easily, but honestly the food is so good that most of the time I don’t notice.

Highly recommend if you love high quality sushi!!

The best sushi & food experience I’ve ever got the pressure of enjoying. The only thing more amazing than the food was the staff. Just to make the evening even more incredible our waitress gave me her soup the chef makes for the staff every night at closing. Something new nightly not even on the menu. I’ve honestly have never been to a better place, It was absolutely amazing!

The most amazing and remarkable food in the most unassuming place. Sushi was amazing from the hand rolls to the regular rolls to the nigiri, everything was top tier. Even the edamame and gyozas were perfect and fresh along with the salad. Our server Yuki was so sweet and even gave us her off menu soup at the end of the night just because we thought it looked good. Overall amazing sushi, best in Portland and probably the whole Pacific Northwest.

In my first language (Romanian), yuubi is pet name you call your lover that means something akin to ‘lovey’… well, I yuubi this place!!!
You can tell instantly that this is high tier sushi. It sets the bar in the Portland area. The ingredients are fresh, the menu unique and constantly changing (a blessing and a curse) and the staff is knowledgeable, kind, and pleasant to be around. It’s a bit expensive so sadly I can’t go as often as I’d like, but for anyone wanting the best sushi in town, you have your spot! It’s a bit small inside, but feels exclusive and cozy.

I came here a couple of months ago with my husband. I'm not usually one to write reviews but this place had some of the best costumer service we've ever experienced! The food was absolutely delicious, high quality and reasonably priced. The staff was extremely friendly; I had gotten up to go to the bathroom and before I had even finished asking where the bathroom was, the guys behind the counter were already pointing me in the right direction. We had a late reservation, so we were the last customers in the building. It was one of the waiter's birthday that day and another waiter brought a cake and offered my husband and I a slice (for free). I highly recommend this place to anyone with tastebuds and will totally be coming back! ❤️

Yuubi Sushi is a standout spot for anyone who loves exceptional sushi! From the warm ambiance to the impeccable service, everything about this place makes it a must-visit.

The shrimp sashimi was a showstopper-it was unbelievably fresh, with a sweetness and buttery texture that practically melted in my mouth. It was easily one of the best sashimi experiences l've ever had. The Sashimi Set was another highlight, offering a beautifully arranged selection of fresh fish that was both visually stunning and packed with flavor. Each piece was so tender and perfectly balanced.

Their rolls are equally impressive. The San Francisco Roll was light and refreshing, the Scott Roll had an incredible depth of flavor with its unique combination of ingredients, and the Niner Roll added a spicy kick that made it absolutelv irresistible.

Yuubi Sushi goes above and beyond with their attention to detail and the quality of their dishes. If you're in Beaverton and craving top-tier sushi, this place is a must-try. I can't wait to return for another incredible meal!

Took my son her for his 9th birthday because his favorite food is sushi! We eat a lot of sushi and at a lot of places but there’s something so special about Yuubi and how they pick, choose and make each slice of nigiri. My son took a bite for his first time of their grandma toro tonight I highly recommend everyone try this. His expression on his face was amazing and explained it all. Every bite afterwards he kept telling me this is the BEST SUSHI to which I agreed! It’s not an inexpensive sushi but I believe it’s one of the best quality places I’ve eaten at around not just the city but the PNW.

Best sushi in Oregon.
Make reservations!

Highly recommend the omakase, let these amazing chefs do their thing!
Also don't miss the chicken karaage, hamachi, uni, and truffle salmon. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu but those are my absolute can't miss items.

The dinning area is small so be prepared for a cozy environment, but the staff takes great care. Items were on our table within minutes of ordering. Everyone was very nice and great at their job.

Will be back, again and again!
