Ordered take out because I’ve been feeling sick lately and wanted some miso soup + fried rice lol although the fried rice was really yummy, good flavor, and great portion size!!! The miso was def lacking… in everything lol idk if this was a mistake or what?? But I’ve never had miso without the seaweed, or the scallions. It was basically tofu soup, and kinda flavorless😅

My favorite Teriyaki place anywhere near Portland! I love their unique salad dressing that comes with their side salads and the way the staff cares about each and every order is a pleasure to watch. Thank you for being awesome Zen Teriyaki!
Why this places ratings aren't higher are beyond me. Food is made to order, piping hot when it comes out, and amazing! Prices to portion size is a great value. Pot stickers are on point. Crispy wrapper, usual filing, but worth it. the chicken wings, get em! Crispy and flavorful. One of the best chicken katsus around, teriyaki chicken and pork combo are better than most places. You won't regret coming here!

Veggie and tofu was a 4. General tso's was a 1. Tough chicken more like leather than food.
Likely frozen, low-grade food service pre-cooked items just like the egg roll.
The teriyaki might be great but I'll stick to once if the many others when the desire rises.

They are usually fast, but the food is sometimes inconsistent. If I could give it a 3.5 I would. But it is healthy, fresh food. I always get the Chicken Teriyaki.
