Abe Capanna's Detroit Pan Pizza

Awesome food truck serving delicious Detroit-style pizza. My pepperoni pizza had a generous amount of pepperoni and cheese. Service was very friendly and efficient. My pizza was ready in a reasonable amount of time, about 20 minutes or so. I liked how they offered smaller sized pizzas, good for someone eating alone. The place was a bit hard for me to find, but it was well worth the effort. It was so good I had the leftovers for breakfast the next day 😋

Pizza and Meatball Subs worth driving 2 hours each way! I will be coming here again. I was visiting the last Blockbuster on Earth, and wanted some pizza. I was met with a warm smile and amazing personality. The food was A+++ with extra credit. As a Pizza snob, this instantly hit top 3 status. The meatball hero is honestly probably the best I've ever had. Food prices were very reasonable, but sodas were a bit steep at $3 a can! I will be here again before I leave town!!

Tonight was a treat night and we decided to give Abes a try. This is some of the best pizza I have had in a long time, really delicious rich, cheesy and very satisfying. I had the "Something about Olivia" which is my favorite combo of prosciutto, pears, gorgonzola ,balsamic glaze and arugula. 11/10 will definitely eat again and again.

I ordered the chicken parm hero here and it was not good. Took about 15 mins from the order to when it was ready. I opened the box and the sandwich was absolutely cremated. I didn’t want to send it back so I picked off the really black bits but it still tasted burnt so I checked the chicken, which was also black.

This shouldn’t have been served to a paying customer, no excuse.

Service was lacking, we had to wait about 15 minutes just to order they kept getting distracted and ignoring us we asked for a jalapeno free pizza and they completely ignored our request and added them anyway, the lady taking our order was very rude and unresponsive and the pizza was very strange as it was soggy and abnormally layered with too much red sauce. Would not recommend unless you wand a mediocre pizza

If I could give them 6 stars I would. Hands down the best Detroit Style pizza in Bend. We had an issue with our pizza being overcooked and the owner stepped in and took care of us. Great pizza and great service. Highly recommend.

My favorite pizza in Bend. Deep dish, loaded with cheese and flavor. The crust is crispy and delicious. Plus it’s located in the best food truck/beer garden in Bend: CrossCut. Go check this place out, it’s fantastic.

After reading an article today about the top 26 pizza places in Bend, this place was rated #1 , I tried it out. If the ratings were by weight this would be #1 , the box weighed about 5 lbs but as for taste not so much. It is pan pizza so there is alot of dough, they put the cheese on top of the dough ,the toppings on top of that, then the marinara to top of that. Very weird. Nothing about this pizza was all that great. I only ate half of it, and won't be eating the other half. Ive Been here 4 yrs and still looking for a great pizza.

We have had a number of positive experiences at Abe's - our family is a fan of the meatballs and the white pizza (Mr. White) in particular, though the menu has not had a miss for us in the past! They are always willing to listen to the customer and do their best to accommodate your order with a smile.Recently, we had the pleasure of working directly with the owner for a private chef experience and it was phenomenal. He was able to work with us to create a custom surf 'n turf menu suitable for our special occasion at the price point we needed. We have loved working with their team at the food cart and beyond - thank you Abe Cappana's!!

The “Something About Olivia” pizza was delicious. Perfect crust, delicious! Unbelievably good. We ate it at The Warming Hut brew house and I can’t recommend the size large for 2 hungry people more. Good job, pizza chefs!
