We tried the Kimchi Jjigae (soup starter), Amtalg (roasted game hen with a yuja sweet/sour garnish & black truffle rice), Gaji (eggplant, mushroom, onion & scallion subbed japchae noodles since they were out of the rice gnocchi), the Jujube (korean date honey) Old Fashioned, the special dessert (a chocolate mousse cake with kimchi strawberries), and finally the black sesame ice cream with pine nut brittle. Everything was really 5 stars.”

Every dish was delightful. We had the figgy dessert with a cardamon whipped cream-get this for sure. Not only was the service top notch but the decor is so amazing! I appreciated the care they took to curate the vibe. We can’t say enough. Our new fav spot in Bend!”

We called five steakhouses looking for one that would accommodate us. Brickhouse said they would.The food was magnificent and the staff were all amazing. So many people came out to check in to really make sure we were okay outside, including both the assistant manager and the manager. We assured them that we were. Glen, our server, was attentive and kind and not deterred by having a table outside when it was windy.Finding a place to eat while still being Covid conscious is hard nowadays, and we are truly grateful to Brickhouse for making our birthday dinner (our birthdays are two days apart) special.”

“We had the most amazing experience here! It’s definitely our new favorite Bend hotspot. First of all, kudos to server Alex for the recommendation, and for going above and beyond his job! Alex was cheerful, engaging, informative, and gave us perfect tips for both drinks and eats. He was so pleasant, has a wonderful smile, and made his feel so special! He even put a birthday candle on our beignet order! Besides Alex’s amazing service, our beer was delicious, the food incredible, and the patio a perfect location for an overall enjoyable evening. Oh my goodness, the hummus was to die for! Perfect with our beer flights. It tops everywhere else we ate over our weekend visit, and will be the first place we go on our next trip to Bend. We highly recommend Monkless, and think you’re very fortunate to have such a wonderful employee as Alex, who made our experience there five star!!”

“Had a great visit today to sample several ales, specifically the Cherrywood Smoked ale!! Very nice, excellent smoky nose, color a clear dark amber, medium body.. very yummy ! Also enjoyed a couple of the IPAs from the “Deer” series!! Looking forward to trying the Hazy Deer Hugger IPA !! Cheers !!”
“We saw it was packed the night before and knew we needed to try this place, so we decided to pop in the next day. As it was a cute little place with beautiful decor, this place allows for indoor and outdoor seating. Offering specialty flavors, which they have year round, and seasonal flavors, I opted to try their Passionfruit flavor and my partner got the lavender flavor. Both were delicious! The passionfruit tasted so fresh and almost forgot I was eating gelato. The lavender was light and had a great scent to it as well, it gave us early summer vibes. Would definitely recommend this place and come back whenever we're in the area!”

I’ve had the pistachio croissant a few times and it’s always amazing. This last time it was a tad over cooked, but it didn’t stop me from enjoying it. “As a picky barista, I always appreciate a well made drink. Not only do they have white coffee, but they also have cinnamon syrup so they were able to make my drink exactly the way I like it. I may not be local but this will be my go-to spot in Bend from now on!”

Well, I've been eyeing this food truck for a while, and I have to tell you these are the absolute best I have had!All beef 1/4 lb hotdog with a perfectly crunchy and light batter (not sweet and cake like). I could barely finish mine, but they also serve a mini version. In addition, they offer a batter dipped baby bell cheese wheel, which we indulged in, and a deep-fried candy bar (we didn't go that far), maybe next time!The attendant was super friendly, and our order was accurate and hot.This food truck is located in the parking lot of the Bend outlet stores.So good!!”

“I came in with another friend while we were passing through Bend on an Oregon trip, we came around 3 pm so it wasn't very busy, which gave us time to look over the menu! We were immediately greeted by a few of the employees, they were very nice, I didn't catch their names though. They asked us if we were first timers and gave a run down of their menu, asked us if we wanted to sit and look over the menu and brought us fresh fried potato chips while we decided what to eat! Very nice of them. We ordered the Briqueso and the pizza sandwiches. The Briqueso was my favorite! Full of veggies and flavor, the pizza was very yummy too, I just preferred the veggies at the time. The woman who served us too also gave us one of their dips for free for the chips since it was our first time there. We also ordered their mac and cheese, very delicious. That was very kind and it was very delicious. Whenever I'm in Bend next, I'll be bringing everybody with me here again! Very nice, very yummy, great service, great food! If you're an ooey gooey cheesy fanatic this place is amaaaazing.”

We were not disappointed. If you are visiting, I recommend you try them. If you live in Bend, you lucky duck, you should eat there often.”

“What an awful establishment. I went through the drive through to pick up food for a business meeting at the Bend, Oregon restaurant. The lady at the drive up window handed me my drinks and bag of food, so I thought. I drive to my meeting and go to grab the bag and only one item is in the bag of the $48.06 worth of stuff I ordered. I had to drive back to get the food where I was greeted by a less than helpful manager, Gretchen, and a so called hospitality manager , Alex McClain. My options were to have them make the food again or get a refund. Mind you I was bringing food to my lunch meeting that I was more late for due to your company. It wasn't my screw up, it was an incompetent employee. No gift card was offered. No here is your food and a refund for your inconvenience, nothing. I wouldn't be writing this is that had been offered. I wasted my time and my gas to go back to get the order fixed that your employees messed up. That was after I paid a ridiculous amount of money for very tiny portions. The Alex lady was even so kind to shoot me a rude look and comment. This is a Christian restaurant? You apparently don't follow any Christian values I know. Your so called hospitality person was probably one of the rudest people I've talked to in a while. She definitely has the wrong job if she treats people like she does. It's unfortunate that companies no longer care about customer service. If I could have given less than one or a negative number above, I would have. You charge way too much money to make mistakes like this and to have rude employees who don't care about the customer. The amount of food I got was maybe worth $20. Below you have the receipt from this horrible experience. From the sounds of Alex though, nothing will be done about it. She didn't care at all and was rude as I walked out as well.”

“I’ll have you know I’m an expert skier. This is a swanky little place with world class brewery vibes!Now I don’t like sours so you would think frank why on earth are you going here? Tbh I am not sure but I am happy I did!Now the only beer I liked was the intro beer the rest were too sour for me but man I am glad we stopped here.The bartender she was incredibly helpful and pleasant hands down one of the top 2 people were interacted with in our 7 days here.The setting is awesome there’s quality music from quality speakers. High ceilings and a very open and inviting space. They also have this awesome art on the wall that really adds character to the space with the barrels in the back.Also big shout out to all of the mechanical metal made art it’s very unique and we all got a kick out of the swimming fish!”

“This was such a great stop! Our server, Forrest, was fantastic - very friendly, helpful, enthusiastic, and offered us some great recommendations for places to check out in the local area. The atmosphere was fun and cozy - very much the vibe of a British pub. Beer was great and unique from most local offerings. We didn’t try the food, but wished we had - their cottage pies looked and smelled amazing! We will definitely be returning here - a new favorite spot in Bend! Cheers! ?”

The atmosphere is so cozy and cute, with dried roses decorating the entire ceiling. We had the Thai sunset and a matter of thai’m (I think that’s what it was called?) cocktails, crab Rangoon (which they called butterflies), and crab fried rice. Everything came out incredibly fast, hot and enticed the tastebuds with every bite. Seriously tasty food, and at a reasonable price. Willis, our server, was super quick and exceptionally hospitable. “Wanted to try March Oyster Fest. This was a repeat of new years celebration that appear to be an off day for Anthony's. We enjoyed our favorite types of oysters, with my wife trying the black cod, and I opted for Halibut fish and chips. These were on the "special today" menu and happened to be both our favorites. All dishes were stellar, especially the oysters. The restaurant excelled in speed to seating (we arrived 1 minute after our reservation time), we were taken right to a 2 person table immediately after presenting ourselves. Mattie our wait staff was great, explained everything and was super friendly. She found the right amount of attention without, over doing it. Nothing took long to get to the table, which is amazing as each of the oysters had to be shucked. No signs of sand nor shell in each of the oysters so skillful hands must have been preparing them, with care. The varieties we ordered are delicate and very tiny (Olympia, Kumamoto, Baywater Sweets). All paired well with a Kendall Jackson Sauvignon Blanc. Anthony's is a place we celebrate occasions and they delivered. As I have previously reviewed Anthony's on New Years Eve, where they had challenges that night. It appears that they took each of the observations and made targeted improvements. I guess when friends give you advice, and it is constructive, it only strengthens the relationship. Cheers!”

Topped with fresh fruits, granola, and a drizzle of local honey, each spoonful was a burst of tropical goodness.I appreciate the cashier putting gloves on before touching the fruit for my bowls.Aside from the açaí bowls, I also indulged in their gluten-free almond cookies, and they were simply divine. The cookies were soft, chewy, and had a rich almond flavor that was incredibly satisfying. I had friends come from Czech Republic and I was excited to serve them these American delicacies. The were blown away. The assortment of sausages I served rivaled what they can get in their own country. Join the sausage club as you will get it sent straight to your house monthly.”
“They got swamped after we ordered and they still slayed. Lovely spicey food and perfectly fried food. The fried chicken was not too fried, was super tender and delicious. Very good ceasar salad is the necessary cool down for the spiciness.Vegetarian options: Cauliflower buffalo wings are the superior wings and they did an excellent job of doing the batter and the pieces just the right way. Delicious.”

“My good friend Renee and I had an enchanted evening at Domaine Serene where we had the pleasure of trying their ambitious new menu which is now available to the public. The new menu has been crafted in collaboration with iconic, local Executive Chef George Morris, of Bos Taurus and Nomé notoriety, and features creative wine-inspired cuisine with a French bistro flair, and notable Pacific Northwest ingredients. We had been eagerly anticipating the new menu launch event, and it was a memorable and magical experience with every course. Our multi-course dinner was exceptional, and the world class wine pairings were curated with thoughtfulness. Some of our favorite dishes included: Amuse-Bouche // Shigoku Oysters on The Half Shell w/ Blood Orange ‘R’ Rosé Granita, & Yuzu Kosho. “I can't say enough wonderful things about our experience at Nome last night! From the moment we walked in the door, everyone was so wonderful - the host, our server Reed, the bussers and bar tender!It was my partners birthday and moments after we got seated, they brought everyone in our party a glass of the most delicious champagne, on the house! We ordered the focaccia for an appie, that was served with a marinara and cream sauce. Everyone LOVED their meals and the pasta was cooked to perfection! We ordered the funghi pasta, duck ragu, calamari, broccolini and the special which was a shrimp pasta dish. I recommend all but the duck ragu was my favorite!We brought a birthday cake and they brought it out (with candles lit) after we finished dinner and even cut and served it to us.Nome, thank you so much for making our night so special. You truly went above and beyond. We will be back!”
“I can’t say enough about the service at the Bend location. I am out of town across the country and I placed a cookie order for delivery. I put the address in wrong but Joe G., the driver called me for directions. I was in a conference so I could not talk to him. He took the cookies back to the shop and the manager Kristen called me. They took the cookies back out for delivery that afternoon and they were so nice. They helped me and I would give this team 5 STARS all day long. Great job and thank you.”

“We went for a birthday dinner. We had appetizers entree salads and dessert. All was great. Of particular note is the spinach artichoke dip, French onion soup, raspberry salad, and salmon. I would also highly recommend the creme brulee. The Cabernet Sauvignon from Washington State was well worth the few extra bucks. Our server was also fantastic.”

Employees were dancing to music, efficiently buzzing about fulfilling orders. Sipping our beers and cocktails we started to worry a little that it was taking a while to prepare our burgers, but after that first bite it was SOOO worth it. Best burgers we have had in a long time. Definitely check this place out if you haven’t!”

“I cannot stop thinking about this Cole slaw w my fish and chips - best I've ever had!! So flavorful and garlicky almost? I want to know what their secret is. Everything here was delicious. The fry on both the fish and fries were perfect, and I enjoyed every bite. Salad was classic and refreshing, chicken a bit dry tho. I ordered pick up and the staff were very accommodating, as their online portal wasn't working but they allowed me to phone in an order. I'd love to go again whenever I'm visiting bend.”

When we got the counter, we only had one card and some cash, something went through our card that shouldn’t have, and we were short. “We have been wanting to check this place out ever since we read that it had opened and finally went for dinner recently. The people were so friendly, especially the host (he was very funny as well, which we loved). We all did the buffet, which was very reasonably priced for all you can eat Indian food. We thought they had a nice variety of entrees, including quite a few vegetarian options. Everything was delicious. The only real negative is the space they are occupying in the Shilo is in desperate need of updating/renovation. We really hope they are able to make it, unfortunately, nothing does well in this location. Would definitely recommend.”

Whether sweeping, wiping tables or checking on customers, I have not see such motivated staff. The wings are taste great, a little on the small side, but crunchy outside and perfectly cooked juicy inside! The fried pickles are the best I've had. All around a reaaly good experience!
