“What are the amazing restaurant right here in Bend. If you're looking for soup salad and sandwiches this is the perfect place. The perfect price. The perfect menu. There is no wait staff you order at the counter and they bring out your food. And I have no problem with that whatsoever. We weren't there for fine dining. And as we were walking out there was another lady that was mad because she said and I quote. She was so offended and said I'll be darned if I'm going to have to order my own food at a counter. And with that I say lady you were in the wrong place. This is a great place to eat.“

“We rarely go to Olive Garden but we went to celebrate life and our experience was so positive mostly due to our exceptional server, Grace. She was just lovely to talk to and was so personable and sweet. My husband and I had a wonderful meal and while the food was good, the real star was the service. Thank you Grace!“

“Okawa Steak House & Sushi definitely has that hibachi-style appeal where it’s not just the food, it’s the whole experience—flames, knife tricks, the chef putting on a show while everyone’s eating together. Those places hit different when you’ve got family and staff at the table; it turns dinner into an actual event instead of just a meal.
Bend doesn’t have a ton of true hibachi-style spots, so when one delivers on food and entertainment, it tends to become the default like you described.“

“I had the Hot & Sour soup and the Beef Chow Fun.
The Hot & Sour soup is weird. They clearly put Giardiniera in it (which is a pickled Italian vegetable blend). Strangely, the soup was sweet. Which was not what I was expecting from and Hot & SOUR soup. As far as soups go, it was pretty good. As far as Hot & Sour soup, it was a pretty poor experience.
The Beef Chow Fun was good. The flavor was excellent and the beef was tender. It had generous amounts of beef, so you aren't getting just a bunch of noodles and been sprouts/onions. My only gripe was that they seemed to just cut the beef in random sizes. Normally this isn't a problem but when you're using a wok (which is what it seems to be that they're using) it means that the smaller thinner pieces are way overcooked and the large pieces are cooked just right. It'd be nice if they sliced things in consistent pieces to avoid dried out small pieces.
All in all I'm coming back to try their other dishes. Considering the lack of good Chinese food places in the general area, I'd rate this one 4 out of 5.“

“Delicious and well worth the money! It’s way more than a sandwich, their hearts are all in and it not only shows, you can taste it! Thank you for the best first impression we’ve had in a long time!“
