Alex was cheerful, engaging, informative, and gave us perfect tips for both drinks and eats. He was so pleasant, has a wonderful smile, and made his feel so special! He even put a birthday candle on our beignet order! Besides Alex’s amazing service, our beer was delicious, the food incredible, and the patio a perfect location for an overall enjoyable evening. Oh my goodness, the hummus was to die for! Perfect with our beer flights. It tops everywhere else we ate over our weekend visit, and will be the first place we go on our next trip to Bend. “Because of a gluten allergy I am always nervous trying a new place to dine. Manzanita recommended a burrito bowl and it was the best I’ve ever eaten. I had the Al Pastor bowl. The meat was tender and perfectly spiced with a slow heat that lingered on the palate. The vegetables were fresh and crisp. The avocado was luscious. The bowl included a seasoned rice and black beans. The portion was huge. I would 100% recommend!!“

“They are the best!!! Perfectly creative drinks, we had the cucumber & wine freeze! I had the chicken bowl and my husband had the falafel bowl. Both were better than anything I can make at home. They are doing such an over the top job with all that has come their way this year. They are exceeding all the Covid restrictions. “It's a very peaceful atmosphere, at least for me, I been to many in town; Each with good coffee and nice atmospheres. Wildroots in particular for me is my coffee home. I can work on my art and my writing. While enjoying coffee; I always do the Americano quad shot, this place for me has the best in town. Also the service here is very personal and unique, always a friendly smile that brightens my day and leave me wanting to come back for more coffee and peace. I will enjoy having my 10 year sobriety coffee coming up in April, and well as those who have read can tell; when that day arrives, I will be enjoying it at Wildroots, they are open 7 days a week so I know that day will be covered with good service and friendly smiles. I know 2 people who work there and both of them are very awesome and kind hearted Thank you wildroots and your coffee team of Barristas; I pray blessings upon you all this day and into the future. “My absolute favorite place to eat in Bend, OR. The vibe is hit or miss. I guess it depends on the crowds, workload, etc. Staff is typically chill but not super attentive if that's important. I end up making conversation but I always have to initiate it. NOT necessarily a complaint but I'm used to more friendly servers... especially at the rate / level this place is. They aren't rude or unfriendly... Just not really warm and inviting. I sat at the bar each time and it's later in the evening within the last couple hours of their posted business hours, but past the typically dinner rush crowds. Other guests / patrons make a huge difference too and sometimes there are fun, happy people and other times the people are super rude, stuck up, and have a sense of entitlement. I pick those times to be extra friendly to staff because it seems like that's more of the norm there... which would explain why servers aren't as peppy.“
