“They are the best!!! Perfectly creative drinks, we had the cucumber & wine freeze! I had the chicken bowl and my husband had the falafel bowl. Both were better than anything I can make at home. They are doing such an over the top job with all that has come their way this year. They are exceeding all the Covid restrictions. “The hype is definitely real! It’s impressive what this little cafe creates from such a small kitchen. The sandwiches were phenomenal, and the soup of the day was hearty and packed with flavor. The croissant sandwich with bacon jam was our favorite. The interior is beautifully decorated, and we also enjoyed exploring the shops in the center after breakfast. Definitely worth a visit!“

“Always delicious, always a good time. Incredibly unique dishes, especially if you're used to standard Thai fare, and just as incredibly tasty. Every time we have visitors from out of town, we try to get a reservation here. This time our friends and colleagues from Peru were visiting and they loved it - they've never tasted flavors like this before and they are already talking about the next trip here to eat at Wild Rose again. “Hands down the BEST lasagna I’ve ever eaten!!! Their pizzas are amazing as well and I love their Caesar salad! It’s my understanding that there are 2 (new/newer owners) and the one that came to our table to visit was wonderful!!! (Sorry 😞 I’ve forgotten his name) We drive over from Redmond to meet friends from Bend and have yet to have a bad meal or service from the incredibly kind waitstaff. So So Good! “Jackson’s Corner has quickly become a favorite. Everything is made from scratch — the sourdough bakery turns out fresh pastries, cookies, and desserts daily…and the in-house pasta program is a standout - pasta is made fresh daily (the rigatoni and pizza are both excellent). They cook seed-oil-free, you can taste the difference, especially with ingredients that are locally and sustainably sourced.

The drink program is just as thoughtful: natural wines, genuinely great cocktails (the Oregon Mule YUM and Bloody Mary - that basically comes with pickled veggies/a salad in it, and one of the better alcohol-free lineups I’ve come across. Happy hour is a great value, brunch runs every day and the salads are consistently refreshing, filling and well-balanced — not an afterthought like at a lot of places.

The outdoor seating is plentiful. They have umbrellas and covered sails so you are always protected from the sun with many shade options.

Whether it’s a quick coffee and pastry or a full dinner with wine, Jackson’s Corner delivers thoughtful, high-quality food without pretension. Highly recommend.“

“This place happened to be across from Thump Coffee, and I wanted a real breakfast instead of carby pastries. I ordered four scrambled eggs, a la carte, and the hostess nicely suggested a side veggie dish, which was fantastic! It had brocolli, sweet peppers and brussells sprouts, all cooked until a bit crisp, super healthy and delish. I will come back and try lunch or dinner. Bravo team!“

“I love Leaven & Love’s gf sourdough bread! I discovered it last summer while I was pregnant and it was the perfect addition to my gf diet. It is delicious while also feeling super nutritious. I still regularly eat it now. The owner’s substack is also great with fun recipes - I made the pumpkin maple morning cookies right before going into labor and several times postpartum and they are one of my favorites! Filling and nourishing.“

If you're searching for the best pizza in Bend, Oregon, look no further than MOD Pizza at 110 NW Sisemore St in the Old Mill District area. This was my very first MOD Pizza experience, and thanks to a team member named JACE, it won't be my last. From the moment I walked in, the service was fast, friendly, and genuinely welcoming.
JACE went above and beyond in every way. As a first-timer, I wasn't sure how the build-your-own pizza process worked, but JACE walked me through the menu, explained the unlimited toppings, and made honest recommendations without ever rushing me. You can tell he takes real pride in his work.
The pizza itself was outstanding — hot, fresh, and made exactly how I wanted it. The crust was perfectly crisp, the toppings were generous, and the whole thing came out of the oven in just minutes. Great quality at a great price, which is hard to find in Bend these days.
The restaurant was clean, the atmosphere was relaxed, and the entire staff seemed upbeat — but JACE truly set the tone. Employees like him are the reason people become regulars. MOD Pizza Bend is lucky to have him.
