“Fantastic food and services. The Oregon Roll is an elevated PB&J, such a perfect food!! Cafe des Chutes is my favorite place in Bend for coffee, chai, and baked goods. I’ve had the pistachio croissant a few times and it’s always amazing. This last time it was a tad over cooked, but it didn’t stop me from enjoying it. You won’t find a better cafe here.Vegetarian options: Great for vegetarians, not great for Vegans“
“I recently had the pleasure of indulging in some treats from this bakery, and let me tell you, it was a taste bud extravaganza! The cookies were beyond perfection--tasty, chunky, and huge, with a sweet middle that left me craving more. The peanut butter, chocolate chip, and coconut combo were a flavor dream come true, even though the coconut was subtle, it added a delightful texture. Service was so good they managed to keep the line moving at a reasonable pace. But the real star of the show was their croissant sandwich. Picture this: a perfectly poached egg nestled on a bed of fresh arugula, all embraced by the flakiest, butteriest croissant I've ever had. It was a harmonious blend of flavors and textures that stole my heart (and my taste buds!).Overall, this bakery knows how to do baked goods right. Whether you're craving a cookie that's the definition of indulgence or a croissant sandwich that's a work of art, this place delivers. Can't wait to go back for more!“
“Great coffee roasted onsite. Even better location with views of the mountains from their fire pit, patio, and from inside.I also love the almond cherry scone and avocado toast.Vegetarian options: There are good bagel, toasts and vegetarian sandwich options as well as a large bakery section that also has 1 or 2 vegan options.“
“Delicious coffee, one of the better prices for what I order (large almondmilk latte), and it actually tastes like coffee, what a concept! Thank you Brewed Awakenings, for providing good coffee and great service! The only comment I have would be that sometimes I'm offered the extra shot for free, and other times, I'm charged for it. It's not a huge deal as I would rather support local, but consistency would be nice.Dietary restrictions: Little expensive for alt milks, but worth it. Willing to answer questions.“
“Love the vibe, good tasting pastries and friendly staff/crew! The only thing I dislike is the parking spots. sometimes I drove here to have breakfast but the store was closed even though the time says it's supposed to be open and there are a lot of parking spots available. And today, I plan to stop by to have breakfast but there are no parking spots available cause there are some customers who don't know how to park properly. ☹️ So that's my concern. Hopefully share some parking spots with Newport Market (just a suggestion). So my advise to future customers, go to Nancy P's a few minutes before they open to get a good parking spot. ☺️“
“Bought a 4" double chocolate cake for a birthday, and it was EXCEPTIONAL. Fudgey cake, delicate buttercream chocolate frosting, perfectly balanced. Their croissant-style donuts are dangerously good, as well. Great staff; very polite and helpful!Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options available.“
“Nothing but the best ! Had scheduled 50th Anniversary celebration on January 21,2024.but was snowy and icy and had to cancel the plans, however the Buntinis (5 dz., were already made) and the owner was so gracious to just absorbed the cost.We were able to reschedule the event for January 28, a week later to celebrate our 50th. Kelsey (owner) and her staff was so understanding and that they all deserve a bunch of kudos for caring. They all blessed my wife and me by this special act of kindness and grace, that we are are now lifetime customers of NOTHING BUNDT CAKES. Love you guys,“
“I have been coming to village baker for years and I love it!! The chicken salad sandwich i craze everyday! The lemon poppyseed shortbread cookie as well as tomato basil soup with a rosemary roll are amazing. The customer service can be quite rude and sometimes dry pastries but this place still is one of my favorites!“
“One of my top coffee spots in Bend! The owner and baristas are so kind and friendly - I love the family vibe. The atmosphere is very warm and cozy, and their Americano is amazing! Also a great place for casual business meetings. Definitely worth a visit!“
“Wow! I went here for lunch yesterday and am going to have to refrain myself from coming everyday. I had the buratta plate with gluten free bread, who can say no to cheese for lunch! It was delicious, the bread is made in house. My cappuccino was perfectly made. Service was friendly and helpful. I went home with 3 different gluten free cookies and gluten free focaccia. Just had the bread with breakfast, I'm in love!Dietary restrictions: Great gluten free choices“
“Where do I start? This place is rooted in sustainability from top to bottom. From being able to buy a plethora of household supplies in bulk to drinking organic tea, everything here is a better alternative for the planet, which I love to see in Bend. On top of having a nice peaceful and stylish ambiance, the quality of everything we had was spectacular. The vegan food truck in the back, A Broken Angel was to die for. I got the Mt. Bachelor hash, and it was probably the best breakfast hash I’ve ever had. The wild mushroom gravy was insanely good, and I’m not even crazy about mushrooms. If they had meat options, I probably would have ordered it with meat, but after trying it 100% didn’t need any meat and was likely much better without it. I am not a vegan, but can definitely get on board with homemade tortillas and perfectly seasoned food. I also got the Nepali Chai, which at only $1 is such a steal and was exactly like the chai I had every day in Northern India. We also had the Cardi B, which was perfect as well. I don’t think there is a thing in here that is bad tasting, bad for the planet, or bad for you. Super friendly service as well. Instantly one of my favorite businesses in town. Will be back soon.“
“Easy to find and a great selection of breads, bagels and other baked good. Also had a nice selection of dry soup mixes. Been going to bakery outlet stores for a long time for the discounted prices and the one in Bend does not disappoint. Highly recommend and it's worth the trip.“
“Had a carrot cake and lemon poppy seed with raspberry frosting cupcake and both were fantastic. It was very moist and the icing was delicious. Icing was a bit heavy but better than too little! ? Definitely want to go back and try the peanut butter cupcake next.“
“If you want to come here I would always expect a long wait. This bakery is located in a very popular bend neighborhood. It is heavenly frequented by large families as it is walking distance for most of them. This is a great bakery as there are so many options my favorite was their ocean roll which is one of their signatures treats. A highlight of mine is that they serve brunch type of alcoholic cocktails at this place which is rare for a bakery.“
“Love this little place! Feels like visiting the home of a friend… who happens to be a really good cook.Very cozy inside. Plenty of outdoor seating available too. (Covered/heated as needed.)Their menu has plenty of yummy offerings and the bakery counter is a feast for the eyes!Friendly service. A bit pricey, but you won’t leave hungry or disappointed.?☕️“
